And just like that, my buyers remorse is gone. I ordered mine yesterday. Praying that I and my hair like it. I have a sedu which gets my hair straight except for the ends, so I am hoping this does better on my ends.
I am worried that the plates will be too big thought...oh well, guess I will be ready for when my hair gets longer.

OT-BMP do you trim your own hairor do you get someone to do it. I need a good trip but I am afraid of letting anyone come near my hair with scissors.

Mandy I can do 50-11 different styles and have techniques out the wazoo but trimming's the ONE thing I haven't taught myself to do yet:ohwell:, so I go to my trusted salon once a year or so and get a trim:yep: they're professional, not scissor happy at all, and they charge $15, not bad, plus its a Black Owned Business so I'm happy to support.

But yea, I definitely need to teach myself to do trims.

wow! your hair looks great and all your outfits are so damn cute!!
sidenote: I LOVE your friend's fade...gosh, I want one myself!! :look:

also can you explain exactly how you went about using the steam? I noticed that wasn't in your review.

Thanks!

Kind of gross...but when I read maxiglide, it sounded like some new brand of tampons....but now that I know what it is....

I want one! ur hair looks great! :D

I asked on your blog for anyone else who maybe wanted to know. I notice you straighten a lot, how do you keep your curls? What are you using to make them revert back?

:blush3:Thanks sweety! I swear, all my best looks are just spur of the moment things I threw together I loved that look especially since it finally gave me a reason to rock my burberry blazer! That bad boy was catching dust for a minute before I could decide how to rock it:lol:

Nice! You know about my boutique on 23rd and Park Ave?

ETA: I just saw you live in Chi town lol.... I guess we have the same style of booties arent they awesome!?!? I love them.

I would wait untill the iron was about 2 inches from the scalp and I would press the steam button and it makes SUCH a huge difference, it makes the hair straighten more easily and it seems to close the cuticle really well leaving you with very shiny silky feeling hair.

I just responded:yep:

Gorgeous results with that Maxiglide.

Your blow dried hair was nice as well. I see Shrinkage is crazy for you because your hair has great length!!!!

Love your blog!!!!

Awesome results, BMP!! :yep: It definitely looks silkier than your other flat iron jobs. You make me want to try the Maxiglide ... but those scary lookin' pins keep me away.

Did you achieve the curls in your hair from the maxiglide too? And it's cold out right now, so do you think if it was summer that your hair would have reverted?

Seriously, you are my favorite newbie of all time!!!! :yep: :yep: :yep:
Oh my:blush3: merci cheri:love2:

Thanks a million hun! My hair wasnt even fully shrunken in that pic so yea the shrinkage is a jaw dropper. My twists done on wet hair shrink up to shoulder length....its wild.

Thanks yea for sure and it definitely felt that way too, I remember feeling my hair afterward like omg, I've never had my hair feel like this before.

Yep I simply turned the flat iron in the direction I wanted the curls. I'll have to do a tutorial on that too. As for reversion, depends on the weather but I think in the summer it probably would have reverted some...I'd love to try his product that he claims can block humidity I mean his claims were right about the MaxiGlide so I'm hoping his serums and cremes work just as well.:yep:

 Ok so your hair is lovely as always.
I need to know though, do you use the comb attachment whenever you blowdry your hair? I saw in your blog how you say that by blowdrying your hair with the Andis, you can eliminate the "hot comb step". Just curious.

FYI: I take your hair knowledge seriously!

Beautiful results! Your hair is absolutely beautiful! And I love the outfit you had on during the night out...cute!
