We came together thanksgiving morning.......and we've been inseparable ever since..........:giggle:

So my mom got us the maxiglide last week and it has been the greatest!:grin: Honestly I dont feel like reposting everything so here's my blog post reviewing it complete with pix galore!:love3: http://blackmasterpiece.com/?p=375

Very nice! I'm considering upgrading from my Sedu to a Maxiglide because the Maxiglide uses steam. I'm trying to get away from all dry heat.
 
looks nice! does your hair usually stay straight or revert with other flat irons?

ETA: Actually, I took another look and it doesn't just look nice. It looks gorgeous! lol great results.

Yea I totally think the steam makes a huge difference my hair has never felt this weightless, the cuticle seems completely sealed and its sooooo silky feeling. I'm just in love:love2:

Awe thanks!!:blush3: It usually stays straight unless its extremely humid out but I was dancing HARD and it stayed really cute and silky.

Thanks for sharing...I can definitely see the difference from your other flatironed hair pics because it looks even straighter here. Looks fabulous! I think I may have to try this.
 
STOP! It's bad enough someone posted the link to the deal on HSN, then other enablers came in with coupon codes for HSN, and now *you* have to show off your gorgeous Maxiglided hair! Is LHCF trying to cause a Maxiglide shortage? :lol:

Very nice results, and I am intrigued that there was no reversion, even after dancing. :)

I have a Maxiglide and I love it. I just have to have more patience with it.

Your hair and you look great especially the pic with your brother. Good on him for treating his lil sis.

My mom bought it in a store for the full 79.99 price but now that I see all these deals imma have her return it and we're gonna get it online with all the goodies!!!:dance7:

I was thinking of getting a new iron and the Maxiglide will definitely get some consideration.
 
I left a comment, but you know I didn't reall have to go in to see your hair, I just knew it would be perfect (I've had one for over two years, but didn't know about the possibilities until I started my healthy hair journey).
By the way, I noticed I had more shed/pulled hairs with the teeth, so I took the comb plate off and now do the chase method with a good medium/wide tooth comb or a denman type of brush and it comes out perfect w/ less sacrificed hairs.
 
This makes me want to get one. Your results are amazing! Does anyone know a coupon code for Bed, Bath & Beyond?
 
really? the teeth dont pull? the steam didnt make it revert? thats my fear and why i am thinking about the fhi runway for my 4b hair

Am I like the only person who doesn't like the maxiglide :perplexed I got one the very first time it came out years ago (I watched those infomercials like clock work!). It was nice, but once I got my CHI it got kicked to the curb lol Your hair comes out nice don't get me wrong, but it left my hair too big for my liking. I guess that's a horrible excuse not to like a flat iron :lachen: They probably came out with a better model since then anyways.

But your hair looks niiiiiiice :lick:
