Has anyone done that? I want the effects of a BKT but I dont want to blowdry my hair. I am wondering if I just put the "serum" on if it will still work. :hmmm:

i think you've got to use heat to seal in the effects of the treatment. i'm not 100% sure, but i think if you were to apply it without using heat, you'd be rinsing out all of the benefits, & the product is a bit pricey to just wash down the drain.

Heat is a necessaity for BKT. There is no way around it. Sorry  But it is well worth it. I am a natural that uses BKT.

There are other products that help temporary straighten the hair, the redkin line has a few, but they too are activated by the heat of the drier.
