BKT only your roots.. Anyone?

I would like to stop full BKT treatments and only apply it to my roots to keep my curl pattern. Just curious if anyone else does this and pros/ cons of doing so?

Also, how do you apply it since its only a root application.

blessed7777 I dont see why it would be a problem. I've heard of this being done although i havent done it myself. Just apply it to the roots only similarly to doing a root touch up with a relaxer, blow dry and flat iron. if you want to wear your hair straight for a bit with the treatment in, use your regular leave in for the rest of your ends. blowdry and flat iron as normal.

also may i ask what kind of bkt are you using?
