I've been taking this for exactly 3 months and I can't say I've seen any results from this. My hair is not softer, my growth is not accelarated, and I can't even say it helped my nails all that much. :ohwell:

Has anyone else experienced this? It seems like everyone else got phenomenal results from the search I did.

I took the 5mg caps, not the liquid form.

I did see stronger nails afterusing these for 6 months. I stopped taking them after about 9 months of use. MSM has been much better for me.

When I took GNC horsetail (similar to silica) I saw result the next day on my nails. They started growing and became very hard. My new grow became wavy. I do not know about accelarated growth though.

Everytime I take a vitamin that agrees with me I first see result on my nails. But it is hard for me to say the same thing for the hair.

Try another brand.

Oh my goodness! Are you kidding? My body (skin, nails, and hair) this stuff. Along with MSM, silica is one of the vitamins my body pitches a fit about not having. I stopped taking it for about 2 weeks 'cause I ran out and the difference in my new growth was vast. It will actually blowdry straight with silica.:D

Although there can be a lot of reason stuff doesn't work, one of them might be you're just too young. The body's natural silica deposits diminish with time.

I just started taking it, but I can't stand the taste. it makes me gag:mad: . maybe I should stop pouring it on my tongue and chasing it with water. are you guys mixing it in juices?

I have been taking Biosil Silica for close to one month and I definitely see a looser curl pattern to my coils. I am also taking Distilpure MSM so I am not sure what is causing my coils to relax a bit.

I take Alta Silicia and my nails are as tuff as steel! My hair will be a surprise in about another month or so. I have Kinky Twist and can't see it. I started taking Silicia a day or 2 after I got my hair done.

I started taking it last week... so I haven't used it long enough to see a difference. I started on Thursday? with the recommended 6 drops and moved up to 10 drops this week. **sorry I can't tell any difference yet.

I took it for at least two months before running out...I never saw any results with my hair or nails. I'm not really sure what it was supposed to do (hair-wise)....I know it makes the hair shinier but I was thinking I would obtain stronger nails that wouldn't break-but I didn't. :ohwell:

I started the liquid drops in September (6-7 drops a day). My nails appear to be the same, and I haven't noticed a difference in my hair so far.

I have been using it..mostly due to your post raving about it.. how young is "young" to not need these. If I don't need to take this then I don't to waste my money.
I have been taking it for two months now but my hair is in braids so I can't give a full report till I take them down this weekend
