Beyond the Zone Noodlehead didn't do jack for me but my brother tried it...

It's intended to define the curl pattern for those with naturally curly hair. So for those of us with relaxed hair, it's not really going to do much. However, you could use it on your hair before a braidout or twistout . I tried it once for a braidout, and it really did help make my hair look curly (but the braidout itself was awful, LOL:lol:).

HTH!

ITA. It's not going to make curls/waves where there are none so if the hair is relaxed bone straight or with little curl to it it probably won't do much. Priestess uses it on her relaxed hair, I think for braid-outs and loves it. It works great for twist outs as well.

It did nothing for my transitioning hair but give it a nasty white sudsy look.:barf: I gave it to my friend, who loves it. I will never again put that stuff on my hair!:whip:

I purchased the shampoo and spray after reading about it on BHM...I was disappointed...maybe because like you said...it did't really work cuz I am transitioning. I may try it later. I am just trying to use what I have. I've been adding the shampoo to my deep conditioning...don't ask me why...maybe I think this will help it define my curls.

Yeah, that right Pokahontas. :yep: Unfortunately, with relaxed hair, I don't think any product will just spontaneously create a wash and go curly look. To me, Noodlehead is a styling cream. Kinda like how people use setting lotions or creamy leave-ins, I use the Noodlehead to help style my hair in bantus or twistouts. Also, I like the fact when used on damp hair, it's aids in detangling because of its somewhat slippery texture. I didn't really have a specific expectation of what the product was supposed to do, I just found my own way to work it.
