Hey ladies, I'm new here only a LHCFer for a little under a month and I've come across many polls and opinions. I love to see everyone's opinions on different products but a lot of those opinions come from women with a different hair type than mine. I would like to know what women with relaxed 4a/b hair type are using out there. So far I've used Mizani, Joico, ORS, NTM, and I'll be using Hairveda once I get it in. Out of the ones I've tried, I think NTM has given the best results so far, but I think I can do better though so I want my options open just in case Hairveda doesn't work out for me. Your opinions will be greatly appreciated

I am really in to homemade and organics products so my favs are Hairveda, SheScentIt and Aubrey Organics. If I were to use salon products it would be Aveda or Joico.

keracare humecto is my favorite deep conditioner. my hair is softest and easiest to comb when i use it. i can tell the difference when i don't. the shampoo is really good, too, but keracare is expensive to me so i use CON.

I don't specifically have ONE particular product line. I like to pull what works for me from different lines. I can vouch for Nexxus, Mizani, ORS, Aubrey Organics, and Giovanni products.....

It's kinda hard to say. I have been using Kenra for a while. I want to try Joico and Aubrey Organics though. I know that doesn't help you at all but I think I'm turning into a PJ.

I love the Keracare line, but I supplement it with a few products from other lines like my Aphogee 2 Min Reconstructer and my ORS Oil Moisturizer.

i love beauty 4 ashes godhead line. its a little of the expensive side. the cheapest item you can get is like 25.99 not including shipping and taxes. but , i thinkits wroth it they only use all natural ingredients anddd and it smells good too. they have different things for naturals or relaxed heads . ethnic or non ethnic . they dont discrimnate , but if you dont have the funds to do so . i would suggest mizani or some other brand. :look:

I actually went and purchased some Beauty 4 Ashes, and should be receiving that in the next 2 weeks or so. I just want to try it once, but I doubt I ever buy it again because that stuff is WAAAAYYY to expensive! The PJ is comin outta me and it needs to be tamed:whipped:ASAP.

And I am so done with Mizani, that stuffs does nothing for me at all. Well I guess if I don't absolutely :love5: Hairveda, I'll try the Keracare next since that seems to be so popular. Thank you all for your responses

I voted for the Elasta QP line. I LOVE the Creme Conditioning Shampoo because it doesn't have SLS in it. And the Intense Conditioner is great. I also use the Mango Butter for my edges when I get new growth. These are my staples. Plus, they are cheap...

I also use other things such as ORS Replenishing Pak, Nexxus Emergencee and Redken Hair Clensing Cream. But I LOVED me some Elasta QP!

I don't know if you can use ONE line, though. Sometimes you can't find everything in one product line....

I'm Relaxed 4a/b, and I like Hairveda, Paul Mitchell, NTM, Mizani and Bed Head....but I'm going to try others though......but Bed Head might be my staple if I don't find better.....I'm also going to try natural hair products for a while and see how those work for me......Trial and error process.....

I voted for KeraCare. I just about use the line exclusively. My hair thrives moisture and I feel like through trial and error I found that KeraCare gives my hair the moisture it needs.

I'm relaxed 4a/4b. I wouldn't try to stick to one product line if I were you. I believe someone told me before, that most lines either focus more on moisture, or focus more on protein, and you'll need to maintain that balance.

I couldn't pick one line if my life depended on it!:lachen: I clarify with Suave, DC with ORS Packs, cowash with VO5 and Suave, when heat-styling, I use NTM Leave-In ..

I've used that line too and loved the results. I had to get use to not having suds w/ the poo but, it didnt' matter. I hate that I couldn't use it up b/f it expired so, I'll have to wait until I've used my products to buy more.

Besides B4A, I like profectiv, elucence, ors, mizani, and CON. There are alot more that I use but these are my staples.:lick:

Thanks, cookie!

I think the key for me was not using SLS shampoos and deep conditioning. I alternated between Elasta QP Intense and ORS Pak. Plus, chelating every 6 weeks with Redken and doing Emergencee the first wash after my relaxer.

Im 4a/b relaxed. I use Mizani, ORS, Hairveda, Aphogee, V05, Suave, Lustrasilk, CON(old Version) and Sallys GVP brands.

Totally agree. I hve been using Shescentit's line of all natural products as well as some oil that I ordered from Hairveda. I also make a conditioning spray with aloe vera, glyercin, silk amino acid and honey quat to spray on my hair to keep it moisturized. My hair is flouishing.

I will NEVER use store brought products again because they just don't do the trick for my hair.

My vote goes to Ojon. Though I cleanse my hair with WEN, I use ojon products daily and they have helped tremendously with my hair.

Joico or Paul Mitchell definitely. Although I do understand why more coarser 4a/b types benefit from Keracare, Mizani, or Design Essentials. But that's not me, so...
