I've been a fan of using Ghee Butter (Kibbeh) as a pre-poo ever since I read about model Liya Kedebe's regime for beautiful hair and the fact that the use of butter treatments is a common practice in salons in Ethiopia. (Ta-ha! The secret to all that gorgeous hair was revealed.)

I've been to a couple of shops in DC and the ATL and was disappointed -- no butter treatments, a so-so roller set that wasn't as good as my own, and, on one occasion that admittedly produced mirror-like shine, the distinct smell of burnt hair. So, I thought it would be helpful to myself and others to compile a list; if you've found an amazing Ethiopian salon/stylist, please list it here. Any city, any state in the USA.
