PrincessM, from what I understand it is a skin condition that's characterized by excessively dry and flaky skin. At least that's what I think it is.

it works wonders. talk about soft hair!

You mean the cocoabutter makes the hair soft, or are we still talking about sheabutter?

I just tried mixing the sheabutter with cocoabutter, and I did not like it at all. It didn't leave my ends as moist and soft.

I've tried the shea butter in a jar and also wondergro's max shea butter mega moisture in the fine mist. I didn't care for either of them.

I liked the fine mist the first couple days. But then my hair started smelling really weird. Kind of like mayonnaise, but then this really weird factory smell

I couldn't take it anymore, so I washed my hair. You should have seen how dirty my hair was, and this was just after four days. I mean DIRTY, as though all the pollution in the city gathered on my shea buttered hair.

It's funny how we all have different results with the same type products.

Nay, i think unrefined shea butter has dirt in it...i melted some and saw what looked like dirt floating at the top...its not cleaned when its unrefined....depending on how its refined (without chemicals and not bleached) the refined is better, alot cleaner and less stinky

I have some shea butter that I bought last year when I first started purposely caring for my hair. I left it alone for about six months and then with all the raves about coconut oil, I decided to take out my shea butter. It melts right in my hands when I rub them together. I rubbed it into my hair length and my hair was SO soft! I like it!!

I made a nice cream with shea butter, coconut oil, and a touch of castor and grapeseed oils. Maybe I should try it on my hair.

Wow, Ive been hollering about shea butter in this form for the longest time. Oh well I guess it depends on who is telling it. It's really a great product, especially mixed with olive oil

Awww, it was probably just timing.

My fiance ran out of his coco butter so I offered him some of my shea butter. The next day, he came in and b-lined for my shea butter w/ an empty coco butter container. I was like "Oh, no you didn't."

I got mine from here....http://www.oilsbynature.com/product-category/butters.htm
