Maybe I'm just in that winter's slump where almost everything's depressing (and COLD!!!) but I'm wondering if it's realistic that I could be back at APL in six months. Be honest with me.... what do yall think? I've been taking care of it by spraying,washing, and leaving it alone lol. My new growth feels great (THANKS S-CURL *shing! Sparkle sparkle*) hahaha

I need words of encouragement. I'm pretty cool as long as my hair's healthy (I gained some thickness since I got rid of the ends) but I want my length.

You only have a few short inches to go. I'm sure as long as you follow your current regimen and do not stress so much, you'll be APL in no time, even before you expect it.

I am also shoulder length and my goal is to be APL by July 2007. If we keep taking care of our hair then we should reach our goal in 6 mths... if not then our hair will be very close to APL. It's the very close that keeps me hoping and growing

lol i am there with you. i measure 2 ins to APL. I wonder if i can get there. I want to be there by May/June. I am trying not to think about it soo much and not try and track length. I think we can make it, just no trims nothing drastic
It is tough when there are soo many girls ( navsegda you too lol) who have long BSL or longer and i am struggling to get to apl..... good grief

I feel the same exact way. I've been gaining so much thickness and just a lil bit of growth. I am worried that I won't be APL for my birthday in July. I know it's possible but it just seems impossible for my head. I think I need to just stop looking at it everyday,lol, and leave it alone. I'm gonna throw some braids in my hair in a month, and hopefully my increase in protein will help me get passed this freakin shoulder blade!!
