So I have an appointment today to get do the BC. Lawd I am soooo nervous. I had to call inmoral support. Pray for me. I'll post some before and after pics.
 
Don't be nervous! This site is full of naturals who can help you as you go along. Congrats on the upcoming BC.

Congrats!!!! I was nervous when I did mine too but the love and support that I got on this board helped me through it...

Are you finished yet, are there pictures?
 
I did it and I love it.. After it was cut off, I was slinging my afro like erica badu at the salon. I have the after pics now, but the before wont get put on later...my friend forgot her peice to her camera for upload at home. I love my hair. I almost got in an accident playing in it after the BC. I already bought a pick and other stuff for maintenance and I'm sooooooo glad I can put it in a ponytail. I transitioned for 13 months, I wanted to try for 24 but oh well. I'm loving the results.

I'm glad it did because I can't do without my ponytail (no matter how small :grin: ). You will though, my hair grows slow as hecks in my opinion but it pulled through for me. I hope you have as much fun ave fun on your journey as I did. :)

It looks cute. :) I'm sure you'll have a bigger puff in the next 6 months. Congrats on getting thru a long transition.
 
Congrats on your BC!!! I can't wait to get there too. I don't think I can wait 13 months though. It's only been 11 weeks and I am itching to chop already - LOL :lol: !!!
