I pre pooed lol pooed..anyways last night with suave creamy coconut, jojoba oil, and honey and I poo, cond, and then used NTM. I didn't sit under the dryer though. I then used Elasta qp design foam cause I wanted to wet wrap my hair. SO many hair came out in my comb. THEN I finally wrapped my hair and the elasta was so sticky. It made my hair extra hard(I think I used to much but that's the way they do it in the BS). The wrap wasnt even straight the center was just curly. I sat under the dryer for about two hours and gave up cause it was getting late and I then blow dryed the remaining wet hairs and styled. My hair is so dull dry and shy today. My ends look BLAH...was it the honey and Elasta that made my hair like that. I am really looking for something oisturizing to do to my hair because I think right now it has too much protein...any suggestions?

do a good DC and use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and don't use the foam or if you use the foam add water to it and try a roller wrap

I havent invested in rollers just yet. but I need to know a god moisturizing DC to try. Or can I use NTM as a DC?

Lustrasilk has great moisturizing conditioners and they are cheap, you can get at Dollar General

DO you have the one in the jar or the one in the bottle? Normal DC are in jars and you put them on your hair and you let is sit for a while or you get under the dryer for about 15 min.

Don't you normally use honey? If not, that could be a possible reason. Elasta QP or foams in general can be very drying and wet wrapping does cause a lot of tension on the hair, these could be possible reasons. God bless

no I don't normally use honey. Not since last year some time.

Thanks for the video link. I will pick some lustrasilk up. I know they have lots of different kind of cholosterals...i just wasn't sure if they were moisture or protein.

Experimentation taught me how much my hair hates un-needed protein..my hair is the longest it has ever been; I rarely comb but when I do it results in long hairs in my hand and comb-my hair has minimal elasticity so I've laid off the protein products..now using ALTER -EGO and just ordered some of the NUNAAT Brazilian products recommended by a co-worker with thick long hair. I read the product list to avoid protein cons, leave ins, etc. The ALTER-EGO garlic is really nice I can shower comb it through without strand loss.

Anyone know a thread that has moisturizing ingridents in it and potein ingrdients cause I forget them all.

Last night I Dc on dry hair with Motions DC. I sat under a dryer for twetny minutes. Then rinsed it out and used som e Motions Wrap foam and sat under the dryer for it to dry without wrapping. After that I put it in a scarf and left it overnite. This morning I flat ironed and wrapped and my hair looks and feels like crap still. I need to bring my ends back so I plan to keep it moist and no heat. Next time I was I will attempt a roller set.
