I don't know but this is the way I'm doing it. I co wash 2 x per week, regular wash 3 x per week, and rinse it under the shower the other 2 days. Each day I swear it feels longer! Its working for me. I've been doing it this way for 2 weeks.gradygirl said:I'd like to join in. I just started last week wearing my baggie at night and taking it off in the morning. I've been wearing a phony pony but I didn't know if keeping my hair damp all day would be harmful or not so I haven't worn the bag under it. Is it okay to wear it day and night?
Thanks i'm going to see how it works for me keeping my hair bagged under my phony. I'm definately up for a baggie challenge.Catina72 said:I don't know but this is the way I'm doing it. simplycee said:Hey ladies. I'll be back on in a week or so. I'm giving myself (and my hair) a break from the bun. When I am 3 weeks post touch up I'll go back to the bun during the day and baggie at night. Are we saying this is another challenge? I'm ready if you are.
MissFallon said:I'm down. I tried the baggie method in Feb but didn't care for it (saw no difference) but now I am experiencing more shedding and breakage so I'm gonna baggie everynight and wear my stocking over my bun during the day (just like I wear the baggie over the bun at night). Do you think I could just use the Hollywood beauty carrot oil and put the baggie on or should I use the S Curl or something else? What suggestions do you have?
MizaniMami said:SimplyCee, I will go on until around July 1st which is my next touch-up!
simplycee said:Sounds like a plan. I'mma check up on you too. Are you only doing the baggie at night like I am and bun during the day?
For this challenge I will wash every 3 days, deep con once a week, bun up after conditioning and dry under a hood dryer for 30 mins.

NYRICAN1 said:I have a question ladies i used to baggie with s curl and would get small bits of breakage I was thinking of using humectress and some coconut oil under the baggies day and night . Will the moisture cause me to get breakage or should I just do it in the day or night and let my hair out for some air to dry. I am thinking about cowashing every other day until touch up which is 4 more weeks and I am currently doing the cpr breakage technique which I must say is working out great for my hair. anyway I wanted to use a phonypony everyday to work until my touchup time and then just baggie at night. any suggestions? sorry for the long post
MizaniMami said:Hey there, I used Humectress one night when I baggied and got a lot of breakage and my hair was sooo mushy the next day. Humectress was waaaaay too moisturizing for my hair (for the baggie), plus the fact that I used too much.
I used Scurl the other night and my hair came out perfect and soft. I would say try the humectress BUT DO NOT get heavy handed, if you need more you can try adding it the next time.
Also, do not use a lot of moisturizer. You hair may have been too wet/moisturized, as that is very easy to do when you are baggying!
