If you were chosen to go on a free round trip to India but were limited to buy only 5 items, what would you buy?

This should be very interesting. I never tried Ayurvedic products but I am considering it with all of the hype from you wonderful ladies. I just want to make sure that I try the items that the majority of you use and not some unknown recommended item by the man from the store. Although he may know his products and how it works, he does not have Afro-textured hair.

Shikakai, Amla, Neem, Vatika Oil, and Henna.

Amla and Neem are good for skin too, so I would definitely have to grab those. I love the way Vatika Oil makes my hair feel, and I am interested in seeing what Henna could do for my hair with repeated use.

I would say it depends. Shikakai is usaually paired with any of the above powders and used in tea or paste form to clean the hair.
