Average Transition Length

Mine was 16-18 months.

I thought the average would be a lot less than what we've been getting. I see so many BCs at 12 months or less, I'm surprised there are so many long term ones... Keep them coming!

I just chopped mine off. My hair wasn't very long to begin with, not to mention that I had BC'd less than a year before.(It's a long story)

There really wasn't any need for me to transition.

I had to give myself time to learn how to take care of and feel comfortable seeing my hair. So, I've been trimming a little bit at a time. Plus, I wanted to see and feel the swang of BSL before completely getting rid of the relaxed ends. My goal is to chop off the last of the relaxer this summer.

I'll be 1 year post in a month, but I feel like I still dont have anywhere near enough hair. Even though I rarely get a chance to see it since its always braided under a wig. I know I'm going for AT LEAST 18 months because I need something to work with and ever since I came to this site I've had hairnerxia. I still dont feel like I'm even SL.
