I am using their clarifying poo way too much and need a moisturizing one.

Wouldn't hurt for me to try any of their conditioners I haven't tried before either-I've used their Brilliant one and am looking to switch it up to something different.

Also, is it true their products work way better if you use the whole line together (i.e., Smooth Infusion line)??

TIA ladies!

Aveda DR and the Smooth Infusion Line will be great for moisture. I've only used these two from Aveda.

For me the products worked better if you using everything from the same line. I think there may be some who have mixed and matched.

I  Aveda!

The Aveda DR works great for me my hair tends to dry out - keeps it moisturised but strong...

I must have gotten a bad batch or something because I used my new Aveda DR thinking it was going to help me fall back on the moisture side, and it sent me right in to what felt like protein overload breakage and all. :crying3: My hair was like a brick, I had to start over and use something else. :ohwell: I don't know what happened. :ohwell:

Is the Smooth Infusion more moisturizing than the DR?

I dont really consider the DR line very moisturizing. I use it more as a treatment for damaged hair. It gives me slip and makes my hair soft but not as soft as the smooth infusion line. Those are the only two I've tried so I bet there are more products more moisturizing. I switch off every other wash w/ these two for now. The DR conditioner is good IMO but I feel like the Smooth line as a whole is a lot better. Sorry that didnt work out for you Sistaslick. I hope you give it another try. Did you use all three products and clarify beforehand????

Oh! You know I did

I knew it was going downhill when the DR did not bounce my hair back from the original clarifying I did. It still felt stripped and rough. :ohwell: I'm not going to give up on it just yet though. 2 more shots. Maybe I'll try to exchange the DR for the Smooth Infusion and see how that goes, because for $96 . . . :look:

Hmm...it's hard to say. I've only used the smooth infusion line twice. I think I need to use it more to determine which is more moisturizing. But the Smooth Infusion line was moisturizing as well. JLove74 uses the Smooth Infusion more frequently maybe she can give you more insight. I'm sorry that I'm no help.

Please don't give up on the Aveda DR!

I read somewhere that the Color Conserve shampoo is the most moisturizing and a lot of people who don't even have hair color use it. I haven't tried it. I use the Sap Moss shampoo and it's moisturizing. I can't compare it to the Smooth Infusion or the DR because I haven't tried those yet.

I don't use all of the products in one product line. I usually use the Shampure shampoo w/ the Brilliant conditioner or DR Intensive Treatment with GREAT results. I've always been a mix and matcher though...
