Ok thanks. I think they have a factory out here, because I drove past this giant building that looked like a warehouse and It had the logo Aveda on it. I will check it out, maybe they sell discounted products.

A factory? LUCKY YOU!!

Did you buy the damage remedy line? I hope you like them. I believe you can take them back if you do not like them.

Ladies I love Aveda and even though I am not loc'ing I plan to continue using them. I am settling my decision on the Sap Moss pre-poo and the Sap Moss shampoo once I am fully loc'ed. Right now I am letting my loctician shampoo my hair every 2 to 3 weeks until my hair is loc'ed.

Any other raves about the Sap Moss line? I have no need for my Be Curly line now since I am loc'ing. I don't have much of it left either.

The Sap Moss Pre-poo is amazing, a shot of pure moisture. The Shampoo is very moisturizing but cleans effectively. The Conditioner is useless.

i agree with sohohair. i used the shampoo today for the first time in a year or so and it's very moisturizing. and i love that it's concentrated so you don't have to use a lot and you still get lots of foamy lather.

i got a sample of the conditioner years back and it didn't do anything at all. kind of disappointing since the pre-poo and shampoo are good products.

ok I've already posted in this thread once because my hair is loving the sap moss line, but I tried the Damage Remedy Line and my hair loves this as well. So Aveda, Dudley and Carol's daughter products are my staples.:D

My hair just thanked me this morning. I am on this bandwagon and I hope to never jump off. Aveda DR treatment and conditioner are the BOMB!!! I mainly use all keracare products for washing. Move over keracare aveda just took over:lol: . I am 10wks post and can not get a comb thru my hair for the life of me no matter what I use it is a struggle. I just received some DR in the mail yesterday and couldnt wait to get home this morning to try it out. I think this will be the best rollerset ever. I was able to comb my hair w/ ease. Now a tangle here and there...expected. But my NG felt like silk and that never happens this late in a stretch. Great buy I am SOOSOSOOSOSOSO happy!!!!!! :)

My budget HATES the price but my hair LOVES Aveda DR treatment. Havent tried the actual conditioner yet but hopefully Ill be able to afford some soon. :)

Yeah I dont think my pockets are going to enjoy it too much but that stuff is the truth. My hair never had so much easy when detangling after the washing. It was amazing. I think I will working some overtime at the hospital to afford the full line.

I still haven't tried the treatment, the conditioner was okay for me but I am still using and loving the shampoo. I just used it today.

I hope you try the treatment...It is really amazing for me and I don't use that word lightly. It's some good stuff :D

The treatment and the smoothing line are on my wish list. The conditioner was okay so I am hoping the treatment is better.

I am devoted to Aveda. A year ago my hair was breaking really bad from not taking care of it. I did some experimenting with different products, and nothing stopped my breakage until I started using aveda. It saved my hair and now I am totally devoted to Aveda. I don't mind spending the money when I'm getting quality products.

And it shows, you hair is beautiful. What do you use from Aveda.

This is good to know. I just bought the Sap Moss prepoo and shampoo but I bought the brilliant conditioner. I will use them for the first time tomorrow.

Thank you gymfreak336,
I use the Damage Remedy shampoo, conditioner, and intensive restructuring treatment when i press my hair and the Brillant line when I wash and go natural.

I use the universal styling creme and it's the best, absolutely amazing, I really love it!!!

We can all complain about the price, but really, most of us don't wash our hair everday and we don't run through products like the other races. It's expensive but it's worth it. That's like comparing a McDonald's McValue Meal to a nice dinner at the Olive Garden or something. There just is no comparison.

I made the decision to stop complaining about the prices of expensive products that work well for me. A lot of times you'll find that the extra cost can be easily cut out of another place in your spending if you just look.

Okay so I took my rollers out and my hair feels so soft and it came out so much better then any time before. I think I stumbled on to something w/ Aveda....I'm so mad about it because that means a lot of money is involved.... Oh well its way worth it.

Bumping!
How many naturals are using the "Be Curly" line,or any product from it?
What other aveda product is moisturizing for natural hair?

I loved the Damage Remedy line when i relaxed, but i'm scared that the quinoa protein may be too much for me to dc with on a weekly basis.
Can anyone chime in?

Regarding the DR I used it as a natural the past 6 years with no problems.
