Another Blessed & Blissful Weekend.

So, What Are YOU doing this Weekend to Care For and Condition YOUR Hair????

I have somewhere to go on Sunday morning, so I won't do a prepoo.
Saturday I will:
Detangle: HV Vatika Frosting
Shampoo: AO Swimmers or Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus
Protein: Shea Moisture Tahitian Noni & Monoi
DC: SD Vanilla Silk
Leave in: APB Watermelon Leave in & Hair Cream
Seal & Twist: APB Watermelon Butta
 
Relaxer day - After relaxer I will DC with SD Vanilla Cream under steam, roller set, flat iron and trim ends.
 
Product review for Wondercurl Products. My hair is dirty as all get out. So I will use her Detoxifying Clay cleanser, and then steam in the Restoring Hair Treatment.

After that, I will detangle and add a leave in, seal and then airdry in big twists. Thinking about mini twists.
 
Wash and DC in those 2 week old Havana twists.
Don't know what products or method will be used. Wish me luck. I may end up just removing them as I miss my hair.
 
I think I'm going to try to cleanse my scalp while I have this crochet-style kinky twists install in, it has been about 2 weeks so way too early to remove them (I cannot stand a dirty, itchy scalp).

Divide hair into four sections and band each section to minimize shrinkage:

Cleanse: Ouidad Cleansing Oil (heavily diluted)
Condish: HairVeda Sitrinillah (diluted)
Leave-ins: Jane Carter Revitalizing Leave-In Conditioner (spray) and Scalp Nourishing Serum. I did the perimeter of my hair in single kinky twists so that I can wear my hair pulled up if I'd like, so I'll moisturize those twists with Obia Curl Moisture Cream and seal with HairVeda Vatika Frosting

Going to do my first green tea rinse. Going to put two tea bags and put it in my little spray bottle and part and spray my scalp first and length and comb it through and put a plastic cap on for a hour. Then cowash with v05 and then deep condition with suave almond conditioner
 
Pre poo: coconut oil
Co wash: granier damage eraser mixed with hibiscus powder, JBCO, honey
Applied detangler: kckt kimmytube recipe
Styled twists with: cantu leave in
 
Wash, deep condition and bun.

Next month I want to flat iron and trim my ends. Can't wait, my hair needs it.
 
I'm going out of town for the weekend, so Monday I will.....

Apply A DC to Dry Hair and allow it to sit for 2-3 hours

Cowash using a random V05 Conditioner

Apply Leave Ins: Distilled Water, SSI Tahitian Vanilla Moisture Mist, HH SCM topped w/ Purabody Naturals MuruMuru Moisture Milk, seal w/ Claudies Khave Oil and heavy seal w/ Silk Dreams Mocha Bling Butter

Air Dry and Big Bun....What else would I do ? :grin:

Tomorrow i'll wash with CON Detangling Shampoo
DC with I don't know yet
flexirod set.
Hoping for good results.
 
Ive been a cowash queen all week... need to wash, dc , and twist. Im being so lazy with my hair...need motivation!!!!:grin:
 
wash: As I Am coconut cowash
DC: Claudies renew protein
DC: Shea Moisture purification masque

style into loose twists
 
Detangle with SM Purification Masque
Shampoo with Elucence or this sample color safe shampoo I got
DC with ???
Leave ins will be Aphoghee Keratin and green tea and SM jbco
Will use a little SM curling souffle for a wash and go or flat twist the top of my tapered cut.
 
M&S: Pumpkin Seed Oil scalp massage, LACE Naturals Ayurvedic Spritz, Claudie's Moisturizing Quinoa Coffee Hair Cream, Jason Vitamin E Oil, OGX Coconut Milk Anti Breakage Serum {ends only}
 
Cleanser: SM Black Shampoo- I followed up with Shescentit's Avocado Conditioner. That shampoo striped my hair, but that avocado conditioner brought it back to life.

Henna Gloss: 3 hrs

Deep conditioned: BASK Yam Nectar and Cacao Bark conditioned. Left on my hair overnight. I'm not sure if I should've used this after my henna gloss treatment. Oh well!!

Applied Hairveda's oil not sure which on on my length. Oiled my scalp with Almond Glaze.

Styler: LI: Knot Sauce, SMCEM, Obia Curly Custard.

Placed my hair in medium size twist all over.
 
I hid my hair all week because I was working in Dallas. Hot and humid as hades there (way worse than atlanta)!!! I miss my hair and can't wait to wash her with dr. Bronners peppermint soap and give her a protein treatment. My scalp had been itching a bit. I hope from growth :grin:

Its my birthday weekend but I wont have time to celebrate so I'll Clarify and DC for an hour. If I have time, Ill do small twists that I could wear as a style. If not, chunky twists.
Ill clarify with Giovanni 50/50, DC with Aussie 3 Minute Miracle, use Garnier Fructis Leave-In and twist with flax seed gel and Nubian Heritage Shea Butter Hemp Mix.
 
Been wearing my hair in twists for the past week, tomorrow I have a party at 11amish so I don't think I have time to take down the twists before then :( I'm thinking of prepooing with oil under my wig at the party.

I may end up wearing a twistout for Monday depending on how much time I have but my scalp has been slightly itchy.

I want to try the Claudie's Reconstructor as a prepoo so I will take down my twists with a bit of HE Sleeker the butter, apply Claudie's reconstructor and DC before shampooing.
Then shampoo with my diluted VO5 Vanilla Mint Tea (washing in twists)
Deep condition with Kizuri Cocoa/Vanilla
ACV Rinse
Twist with Oyin Hair Dew, APB Ayurvedic Creme, and Kizuri Olive shea

Since washing with twists and using cones to detangle, my hair has been easier to manage and I have cut down on A LOT of detangling time.

Lee Stafford Rx 5 minutes
Steamed with: Karen's Body Beautiful Luscious Locs Hair Mask
Applied Leave-In (Fermodyl 619 for Chemically Relaxed Hair)
Dried under Dryer
 
Relaxed my hair yesterday after a 12 week stretch. Felt like 17 weeks though because I relaxed with a mild relaxer last time that didn't loosen anything. Happy with my progress.

Had to stretch to due a catastrophic setback after using Phyto relaxer in March. Literally burned my hair straight off! :eek: A large patch of hair was missing. And right before my wedding. I contemplated transitioning, but it is not for me right now.

I'm going to try to go back to stretching and air-drying like I did years ago. I relaxed with Hawaiian Silky Lye and this will be my go to relaxer from now on.

Used hello hydration for its slip to detangle
Shea moisture raw shea butter conditioner as a leave in
Water as moisturizer
Naptural85 shea butter mix as seal in
 
Prepoo with aphogee keratin green tea under hairveda sitrinillah
Cleanse with elucence
DC with darcy's DC mask
Air dry
Apply oyin hair dew, APB hair cream, and aloe vera gel for a braid out
