Hi ladies! I was at the health food store to pick up my AO White Camelia, and I noticed the AO Egyptian Henna line. I have been using Henna for about five months now, and I am interested it how it works. I am a natural hair baby, and I have already contracted a bad case of PJ-itis so I want to try everything, but now i'm going to at least wait until I get some info. Thanks in adavance!

Hmm I don't know anything about it, I've eyed it before in whole foods but I don't think this one is meant for our type of hair, On the bottle it says:
For Oily, Fine, Limp Hair

Maybe someone on here has used it though....

It's witch hazel based and has no fatty alcohols or oils in it.

Deionized Water, Witch Hazel (natural herbal extract), Henna Extract, Vegetable Glycerin, Carrageenan, Inositol, Calcium Pantothenate, Aminobenzoic Acid, Amino Acid Complex (Methionine, Cysteine), Organic Peppermint Oil.

I think sharifeh is right. It is meant for fine/limp/greasy hair that doesn't need a lot of conditioning.

Maybe some fine heads here like it though. but most afro textured hair, even fine heads... tends to need a bit more moisture.

It's very watery, slippery and I think it makes the hair stronger (?).

I only use the conditioner when I'm braided and wash my hair.

I also pour it into AOHSR bottle to get the last of the conditioner out.

I haven't used the shampoo.
