attn all members what combs do you prefer.

I am trying to decide which is better for retaining length a bone comb, a seemless comb or a wooden and why? if you have any other suggestions put them down as well.

I think that either would be good it's up to you. I have both a bone comb and a seamless comb. Bone comes are seamless and the deposit vitamins and minerals to your hair while eliminating static, but they are more expensive than seamless combs which don't don't give vitamins and minerals. I love my conair shower comb. I use that for EVERYTHING. However when I airdry I need a finer comb to help smooth my hair on the magnetic rollers. I use the bone comb to part my hair and the SILKCOMB which I got from sally's to smooth the hair on the roller. So basically for everyday usage I use the Conair shower comb.

I use seamless combs. They help you to retain length by preventing damage to the hair caused by the seams in regular combs. I got my seamless combs for around $8 each.

what is a K cutter comb what does it do? I never heard of a silk comb is it really made of silk I could not find info on the net. what does it do for your hair?

A K-cutter is a metal comb that is the bomb for detangling. I just got mine. You should be able to find them at most BSS. But Sally's doesn't carry it.

The silk comb is supposed to be comparable to a bone comb; that one can be found at Sally's. I have one but I don't use it much. My Jilbere shower comb and K-cutter get used the most.

I love my K-cutter comb, which is seamless. Mine looks a little different from the pic Allandra posted because the teeth are not tapered. I think I paid $2 for it at my local beauty supply store.
