I know it's good for slip. And I plan on getting me some next time I have a ride to a good BSS, but how does it make your dry hair feel after you have DCed? How is it on shine? Does it leave it coated?

It leaves my hair soft for 2 weeks until I shampoo and cond again. Not sure about shine because my natural hair has a healthy sheen but no shine. It does not leave my hair coated and I use a lot because my hair is very thick.

I bought this because of all the raves I heard, DCed with it....hated it! It didn't do much of anything. And it was very sticky.
However, I did have a lot of NG. I plan to wash my hair in a little bit, maybe I will try it again while I'm newly relaxed. I'll let you know how it works this time around.

ETA: I just DCed with it. I really tried to like it... but it still sucks!

It has been years since I've used this but I remember it being something that I liked and that I purchased repeatedly for a while.

I agree with the poster that said it made her hair MELT. This always does the trick when my hair has new growth and is feeling dry. I love it.

I dont use this con as a DC I use it as my secret weapon when I need to detangle or comb thru lotsa NG so I'll Dc then use it as a rinse it works great and is cheap.
