Ateyaaa's Promoting NUGROHAIRPRODUCTS...

^^I saw her latest video and her hair has grown a lot. I dont know how long she has been using the stuff but all her fans will see this and will buy anything she endorses.

Did anyone get the FULL ingredients for this stuff?

This is all I found:

3) What INGREDIENTS are in your hair growth products?
Active Ingredients: Parsley, Allium Sativum (Garlic), Nettle, Burdock, Horsetail Coltsfoot, Rosemary Leaf, Jojoba Oil, Olive Oil, Safflower Oil, Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Fragrance, Pab Panthenol (B-5) Vitamin E and D, Aloe Vera.

Listed in the FAQ's section of their site.

^^I aint buying jack unless I know the FULL ingredient list...not some Active stuff thats in there probably at the bottom of the list.

That's not right. The first ingredients could be Mineral oil, lanolin and petroleum for all we know.

I like Ateyaa but I think these Nu Gro products are just hair grease, like DooGrow and other "grow" type products. I checked out the site of the guy who makes this stuff and he also sells some sort of weight loss potion. I just got the feeling the guy/company is a snake oil salesman type.

And the drama unfolds. Can't put nothing past you ladies. You are on it in a New York Minute!

As the story continues on the Days of Our Lives........or rather on the Days of Long Hair Care Forum.............

So....did anybody see the first NU GROW video she put up?

She was spraying the leave - in in her hair and from the look on her face she did not like the smell. She said it smelled very strongly of alcohol. Ole girl was giving the camera the gas face for a few minutes. She cut the video off, and came back and said she called somebody at the company to make sure that it was safe to put heat on her hair behind that leave-in.

I was rolling at that alcohol part. I went back to watch it again the next day and she'd replaced the video.

I'm not going to knock the hustle. I'm just over band wagons.

well... good luck to her:ohwell:
i'm sticking with my m.b.s.:yep:
:lachen:j/k
i'm sure her products are valuable and will help improve the quality of hair for many, many women:grin::yep:

I think her hair looked better when she was using the Aphogee products. Now, her hair looks greasy and it don't have that bounce and swang that she was always taking about anymore. It's just laying there. She also keeps talking about how greasy it is, how you gotta rinse for about 5 minutes to make sure you get all of that grease out.

She don't even look happy talking about that stuff like she did when she talked about Aphogee.

Fragrance is an active ingredient? Hmmm... :spinning:

I thought so too, but then I figured maybe when she talked about Aphogee there was no selling of products involved so no pressure on her behalf. She was just having fun. Now she's actually selling something and has to convince people this works. I'd look nervous and not very happy either LOL

I wonder if she's a member here. I like her personality and think she's really funny. She can keep her hair KNEW GROE or whatever you call it LOL

Her hair looks nice to me.

I like my hair having more weight to it the way it is here. It does not look greasy to me, as some have mentioned.

I would not try those products because of the lack of ingredients. Also the claims of that slimming oil are suspect. Makes me question the claims about the other products.

But, her hair looks nice to me. I just hope there products don't give her a setback. Sometimes you need to stick with what works and you try something new that makes your hair look great - and then things take a turn for the worse.

I mean she has been using great products that have her hair is great condition. Of course the new stuff is gonna work great on the hair that has been so well cared for.

But over time, your hair could take a turn for the worse.

But, now - her hair looks good. :yep:

Paycheck or not....attaching herself to product line she doesnt even appear to be truly happy with loses her creditability with me.

That's exactly what I was going to say. I think it's disrespectful to customers to purposely misspell a product name.

It would have been just as easy to call it "New Grow", even though that's still not correct.

I wish people would stop buying products with names that are a direct insult to their intelligence.

HAAA - All I see is NEEEEGRO - not NUGRO:perplexed

That is where my brain goes. NEEDLESS to say - I would not buy it........

Hey, wait a minute...I'm just getting around to looking at the NuGro products site and this is posted:

Well, I have been saying this for I dunno - how long!!!!

Ingredient Nazi.... That is me.

I must rant here for a bit. I am so sick of companies ( GHETTO ownt an' OPERRRATID)

thinking that they can sell us anything!!!!! That burns me up. We are just not that stupid - and I am sick of folks trying to Swindle people out of their hard earned money!

Well maybe I'll buy the slimming oil. According to the website I can lose 4-6 pounds a week by rubbing it on my tummy after I take a shower. I will be WSL and a size 0 by June!

I would never purchase anything from this site. This photo is so unprofessional. What's up with the stains and dirt on the white surface? Why is there visible grime on the bungee cords?

Now I like Ateyaa... but she can't be pushing this type of stuff on her viewers.

I noticed that dirt and grime, too. That's so nasty.

Well people have been falling for it for this long.....:look:

Half the ish in the BSS is a rip off.

And I see people falling for it all the time. And it has been racket by other companies not ' GHETTO ownt an' OPERRRATID", as you said.

This is nothing new.

Her hair does not look greasy to me. Her hair's lack of bounce is more likely due to the fact that she is 10+ weeks post. She usually relaxes at 6 weeks but is stretching. Her hair looks very healthy and is growing beautifully. I still wouldn't purchase those products though.:look:

There a no ingredients listed on the site.

I bought a bottle of the leave in last summer and used the whole thing. I've got a 1/2 bootle up stairs I'll post the ingredients listed on it. It worked well on my daughter's natural hair. It reminds of me a spray activator. I WOULD NOT use heat after using it. One of the funniest phone calls I have ever received was my sister cursing me out of telling her to use it as a leave in before she flat ironed her transitioning hair. Half way through the day she looked like a darn poodle, lol. It attracted every drop of moisture out of the air and into her hair.....hysterical :lachen:at the time. The same thing happened to my mom when she flat ironed after using it. I lost a lot of haircare street cred with that one. On natural hair that is worn curly it's a great moisturizer but it's certainly not magic growth in a bottle.

That's an upgrade from the last Ateyaaa thread. :lachen:
