Ateeya's Hair Just Keeps Getting Shorter.

Ateyaa has stated in one of her recent videos that she likes her hair at the length it is...

Idk..cause that's the same line I used to use before I started my hair journey when my hair stayed at EL-NL. "Oh I just prefer my hair this length, I could have long hair if I wanted it. I don't want to deal with longer hair, too much work" knowing damn well I wanted some long hair but I didnt know how to get it lol. So just because she said it doesn't mean its her true feelings. She could definitely want her hair to stay that length though, only she knows.

Yea right...looking at your join date you've been on here long enough to know that Ateeya threads around here don't always end well and most get locked...

As far as your theory about swang go. I disagree b/c not everyone can get the Ateeya swing. In order to get her swang I think it depends on your hair type/texture. Now everyone's hair probably can have some type of body/swing to it but not the Ateeya swang. There is a difference.

Which point in my post you quoted, is your "yeah right" refuting? That this was meant to be an intervention for Ateeya? That this is not a discussion? That I am deeply invested?

I have no dog in this fight but her hair looks a bit uneven but it's ok. Maybe I've just been on this site too long but her hair is just average to me

Her hair looks healthy and I love that her hair has movement and shine. But if my hair was the same length year after year I would be mad as hell...

She's relaxed, right? I believe some people can't grow long hair w/a relaxer. I'm one of them. I tried extremely long stretches and everything healthy and it always broke when I had a touch-up. I rarely see long, thick, healthy haired relaxed women.

I rarely see it too, but long, healthy, relaxed hair can and does exist. Some hair can tolerate a relaxer, some cant. Some care properly for relaxed hair, and some make the terrible mistake of thinking it's low maintenace hair, when that could not be farther from the truth. There are plenty of nice, long, healthy relaxed heads on this board, including my own...not to toot my own horn or anything.

As for Ateeya, I dont follow her, nor do I regularly watch her vids. Her hair looks ok to me. Maybe she is maintaining this length before attempting to grow longer to thicken up the ends...Ive done that many times.

Not really...Everybody who's been here long enough knows how an Ateeya thread will go. Hell I think Ateeya is as big as Shima around here.

Go big or go home....well maybe you shoulda went home b/c going big would have been when u saw her video then you discussing her hair getting shorter and shorter....yep that woulda been real big, miss 2008.
