i dunno, i guess i expected MORE from that article. i was SO glad to see the "nappy hair is good hair" thing though...."good hair" is such a widespread notion in the Black community, and for all the wrong reasons.

I think I'm just happy to see more people talking about natural hair.

I'm torn. I would dearly love to see more ladies go natural, but hate the "Throw off your chains!" approach.

Someone in the comments notes a lot of the "naturals" we see in the media are actually weaves/wigs. It doesn't seem right to say weave-wearers are brainwashed, but naturals aren't.
