Arent you tired of.......

Okay, so ive been lurking in the forum for about six months. (i know thats a long time!!) Heres my problem, i dont know if someone else has already said this but, Im so sick of reading peoples posts about how much growth they've got from a certain product or a regimen that has given them soooo much growth, and the dont have any pictures for us to see. So, I'm officially starting a hair journal. I will be updating it every three months. Im in the process of going naturalerplexed and growing my hairline back in. So, here are my starting pictures.

Current Regimen
* I'm currently using Profectiv's growth renew topical treatment, and there root recovery temple stimulant( it does say that you should use the product for a couple of months to see results, so thats what i plan to do.) If after three months i dont see much difference then im off to try something new.)
*I also shampoo once a week with creme of nature ultra moisturizing shampoo and condition with Lekairs cholesteral Plus(the pink one)
*I usually where braids, so i use infusium 23(as a leave in and African royal braid spray.) oh yeah, I use organic root stimulator dry scalp oil.
So, in a nutshell i pretty much do the crown and glory technique

Not everyone has the time to make an album. Not everyone has a digital camera or even regular access to a computer.

Of course, I'd prefer to see pics and proof, but I understand that you're not always going to be able to do it. I don't blindly follow anyone... pictures or not.

I just like the site, and I think it's a great way to share info and get support.

Albums, pictures, avvies, siggies, blogs, videos... yes, they are very entertaining and helpful, but the best and most important thing to me is the information. I don't have to know how you look to learn from you.

Just my 2 cents.



btw... Seems like you are definitely on the right track and I know you'll have a lush, thick head of hair in no time

There are soooooo many women on here that do have fotki's, update their progress etc to worry about the few (myself included) that don't.

And, may I say that your hair is gorgeous and very long. After all this time on the forum, today was the first day that I saw your hair and I was glad that you even took the time to show us 1 pic.

Yeah it would be nice to see pics of any and everyone who shares info about progress. But on any given day, we get a LOT of pics to look at. And not to mention fotkis galore.

Yeah, that was a big reason why I didn't post pics at first. A lot of people see them and there are a lot of nutballs out there! I'm still kinda uneasy about it, I think that anyone with albums and stuff should be... just a little

Well, I hope this didnt offend anyone, but i wasnt talking about everyone, Im talking about the self proclaimed PJs, the people who spend tons of money on growth aids and claim to have massive growth, a lot of the people i am referring to, do have pictures up, just not of the growth they are claiming to have gotten from the products. I agree with the fact that people shouldnt blindly follow others, thinking that they will get the same results. but just like i posted my pic of my hairline up, Im not going to post a thread three months later saying my hairline grew back in completely and not share photos. P.S. Thanks for the encouragement!!

Now that I definitely agree with. The MoeGro challenge comes to mind when you say that. I am waiting to see the results in that thread.

I really don't care, it's enough people who do track their progress.

I've gotten really good growth from the only two growth aides I have ever used and I don't take comparison pictures...I don't brag about it either so I guess it doesn't matter. I don't measure my hair, I just observe and compare from old pics.

i just love pics. everyone don't have to, and no everyone don't have time, but it's just a fun thing to look at. but i myself cant too much talk because i need to put up pics my self. but i just started. lol. i still have time. i think pics aren't always needed, but it does help motivate me. esp. the progress ones.

I agree. I'm busy with school, so just about the only thing I do no here now is say "thanks" . I do occassionally post if I feel like I have something to contribute. I'm posting now to ask, if you, and those who think similarly, prefer that people not give you a testimony/advice with a picture?

I'm wondering b/c I rarely post in the hair forum since 1) I don't update my fotki anymore and 2) I've been trimming inches off of my hair for the past couple of months to get rid of layers, therefore progress pics of growth would show either no growth or a close up of my new growth.

I hear newbies complain of not enough assistance from old heads, but when we do try to help, there's a complaint regarding the way that we helped. Darned if you, darned if you don't I guess

Exactly. I've been from APL to WL and now back to BSL/Midback with not one picture posted on this forum.
Doesn't mean that I'm lying, or I'm not qualified to give product reviews.

I do believe that there are people on here who trulely have had success without posting pictures, but again i am not referring to those people. I have had good results without posting too, but im not going to get on here and rave about having two inches in a month without posting pics, but as im finding out, thats just me and my silly opinion. But i still stand by it.
