Are you a fotki stalker?????

yes, I am a stalker...mostly because I am newly texlaxed/relaxed. I used to stalk naturals like browneyedgrl and Chicoro...but now I stalked relaxed heads like RedHotLaLa and Sylver2. Macherieamour isn't fotki but I stay in her tutorials. They are so friendly and helpful and all that healthy hair :worship2:
They definitely inspire me.
 
I'm not a stalker. I don't visit anyones fotki regularly. I often just click on fotkis of people that have them in their 'siggy' if their hair looks nice to me from their avatar or siggy picture---particularly if their hair is similar to mine in length and texture and they have the same/similar goals:yep:.

There are a couple of people whose hair I am in awe of...like Dsylla (sp?). I just love her hair and I will check her fotki once in a while for updates.
I do 'stalk' Macherieamours site (right now I'm dying to get that rollersetting DVD...lol). She has GREAT tutorials there and has taught me a lot and made my routine much easier. I am a DIY'er (for everything except touchups and trims, dusting etc..don't trust myself with scissors yet)--because of her tutorials. I never rollerset my own hair in nearly 38 years! Always ran to the salon for everything. I used her rollersetting tutorial (just the one on her site/written instructions) and I finally did it myself. It's truly liberating!...lol

In general though I'm too impatient to check fotkis..especially if they require a password or are not listed in the persons siggy. I do realize the importance of Fotkis though. Viewing others have been truly inspirational for me and I want my fotki to be helpful to others also. I will start updating more often as well.:yep:
 
Yes, I had a good list of my fav fotkis, but lost them when my hubby was updating the computer. Time flies when you are looking at beautiful hair. As much as I stalk, I need to start my own. . .:spinning:

I AM A STALKER! If you have a password that requires me to PM you to reveal my identity, well your fotki goes "unstalked" by me.:yep:
 
I stalk... and I'm not the least bit embarrased about it! :hide:

The fotki folks helped my get my severely damage hair together and provide inspiration for where my hair can get.

Since we're on the subject... I think we do need to thank those folks who keep their fotki's updated and public or those who post their pw in their profiles. I understand that there are some negative folks out there, but for those of us who don't/didn't know what the hell we were doing, those fotki's can be a lifesaver.

Although I am knew to this forum, I have actually been tracking my hair growth since I cut it upto my ears after a dye-job gone SERIOUSLY wrong back in August 2006 :wallbash:

Let me tell you, I will never support dye again!!! I was TRAUMATIZED!!!

As a result I am completely obsessed with African American Hair :yep:
 
I get help and inspiration from stalking fotkis. I also get more focused and serious about hair care.
 
I use to not be. But I have my random moments where I'll check certain people's fotkis just to see what's going on with their heads or for inspiration. Like now... but it will probably fade in a few weeks and then I'll be hit by the bug again later in the year... I'm weird like that.

That's funny. I leave comments too. Especially when the person has made ridiculous progress. :yep:

Yes, I Am! Although. I don't know if it is true stalking because I usually try to leave comments or sign the guest book.

It's so bad that sometimes I'll go to look at someone's album and see that I've already been in there months prior and left a comment.


It's so bad that when I finish posting this, I'm gonna scroll through the thread and visit the fotki links in everyone's signature...And I'll probably see that I've already been there before.:drunk:
 
I definitely stalk fotkis, especially if someone has hair that is similar to mine. I think fotkis are my biggest inspiration and gives me a timeline for how much progress I can expect to make.
 
I admit I'm a Fotki Stalker........I learn so much from you guys not to mention I love to see your progress ......I get all excited when I see someone reach or close to their goal!!:yep:
 
Yes, I do! Especially those with lengths similar to mine. I usually comment and motivate them about reaching their goals and hope that we can make it around the same time as well! It gives me something to gauge with my own hair. The longer haired ladies I usually just admire.
