When I first 'discovered' keracare and affirm, I near enough bought everything I could. However, I've finally decided that I don't like their products as much as I thought and have tried other products that have been better and sometimes cheaper.

yep Mizani (some of their stuff), Keracare (some of their stuff), Paul mitchell S(some of their stuff), Soy Renewal Sexy hair, at first I love then don't. Life & Times of a product junkie :wallbash:

Freaking Organic Root Stimulator.
I used to be obsessed but I can't stand them now. Their relaxer sucks, the carrot creme stinks (literally), the olive creme sits on top of my hair, they ruined their Replenishing Conditioner....I just can't with them no more.
I still use their Creamy Aloe Shampoo for clarifying and chelating, but once it's gone, I'm going to try another one.

I used to be really into Herbal Essences Totally Twisted, but I've found now that I actually prefer Long Term Relationship and Hello Hydration.

You know, I think I'm liking ORS less and less. I used to really like the carrot oil cream but after my current jar finishes I won't be re-purchasing.

Neutrogena Triple moisture line
I loved it
Had the Recovery Mask, Daily deep conditioner and Silk Touch leave-in.. my hair really hates it now. I used the leave in the other day again, and it just coated my hair made it feel dry.

ORS twist and lock gel, it leaves flakes when I do my twist outs. Also, Organix coconut milk shampoo and conditioner. I don't know if it's this winter weather, but my hair is starting to reject this stuff.

ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo...It left my hair so soft when I had hard water, but now that I don't have hard water anymore, it leaves my hair unmanageable.

Carols daughter tui hair oil, seems like it just sits on my hair and doesn't soften like it used to. Everything from pantene, just not for me.

yep I have noticed recently that I am not so bothered by the big companies such as keracare or Mizani anymore. When you break down their ingredients they are pretty sh*tty and scary. I want to make the move to more natural products now.

I'm done with the hype. I think for so long as black women were were so obsessed with the next miracle gro product that these companies have been packaging shyte and selling it to us. I am more interested in quality ingredients now - not fillers.

KeraCare! I didn't like it a year ago when I first started. But I looooove them now. I think it's about what hair needs at the time. Back then, I needed Aphogee. My regimen was protein heavy. Now, I can't do that, I need moisture rich products. It truly shows that hair does change and products need to change with that.

VO5 conditioners used to be my HG for cowashing....but after i discovered aussie moist and herbal essences, i don't really like it. my mom uses it, which is the only reason it's still in the house.

organix is another...i was so hype over the smell of the conditioners, but they don't moisturize as well as others. on top of that, the shampoos dry my hair out something horrible.

I'm also finding that I won't like everything in a product line but maybe one or two products.

e.g I love elucence shampoos, specifically the moisture benefits and the clarifying. But I don't like the moisure balancing con.

I use to use a lot of ORS products..carrot creme, olive creme and the replenishing conditioner. I didn't bother to try the new formula of the replenishing conditioner because I actually forgot about it since I've found my staples. Now I just use the relaxer which likes my hair. I don't hate them but my hair has changed and now I found others that work much better. I'm also no longer a product junkie like I use to be.

yeah the ORS products I dont really like anymore. I still like the hair mayo however. They supposedly added wheatgerm oil now and it seems to be a little bit more moisturizing than the last formula.

Not the whole *line*but one product in particular: Chi Infra Treatment.

My relaxed hair used to LOVEEEEE this stuff b/c not only is it a heat protectent but it made my hair sooo soft. This was my go-to remedy for immediate softness after clarifying, hard protein treatments, general dryness, you name it. Now that I'm transitioning/LT Stretching (haven't decided yet), the almost 4 inches of NG I have LAUGH at this product. I don't know if Chi changed the ingredients or if this product just doesn't have the same effect on natural hair, but I really may just as well be putting water on my head. :nono:

TIGI Bedhead...my hair used to love this stuff. Now, not so much.
Silk Elements...everything but the relaxer did nothing for my hair, and since I'm transitioning....buhbye!

Oh yeah TIGI Dumb Blond...not working the same for me. I need to try it again but the last time I used it my hair wasn't soft at all.

Carol's Daughter products...after all the hype (even from celebrities). I went and bought pretty much the entire hair line.

Ors
Keracare
Mizani
Elasta qp
Chi
Some of the Aphogee products

Most of these are due to ingredient changes though.

I used to use ORS back in 2006, almost the whole line, doesn't agree with me now.

I fell in love with Macherieamour hair also around that time (2006-2007) and wanted to buy more Keracare products as I use (still use) Affirm relaxer. None of the keracare products I've used agree with me, they are heavy and coat my hair.

Now, Mizani is a line that I've been exploring bit by bit and I like what I've tried so far.

joico
most drustore products: tresemme, aussie, l'oreal, herbal essences, garnier fructis, etc.

I think i finally found a line i can stick with.

Elasta QP but its because of ingredient changes. Used to looooove their old creme conditioning shampoo and mango butter.
