Are there any alternatives to Mixed Chicks leave-in?

I need something that defines curls without the crunchy, dry feeling. I like it but I think I can find something better out here. My goal is for it to be $10 or less because I don't want to buy something that is costly and not work for me and/or left unsatisfied. Maybe I'll consider a more expensive product when this "money crunch" is over, but for now I need something that will hold me over until then (whenever that will be!). I LOOOVE how it defines my curls but i need something that i can snatch up at the store instead of waiting to be delivered. *sigh* if there aren't any I guess I'll have no choice but to shell out for the MC leave-in. I believe in my fellow LHCF aunts to help me find my miracle. I refuse to give in!

yea in fact, so far so good. But it leaves some of my hair crunchy like i put gel in it or something. Perhaps i was a little too heavy handed? I'm keeping it...... Anybody else? BTW, Thank you Natural Glow!
