Are soft bonnet dryers as good as & work well as hooded dryers?

im curious because i commute between home and university alot and i dont have a car so carrying a hooded dryer between my two homes is a nightmare.

my mum reminded me that she used to have a soft bonnet dryer and it made me wonder... do they work the same?

im thinking of getting one as its easier to transport but i need to know if they are ok to use as a replacement for hooded ones?

thnks 4 ya help?

Hey AfroDoll...

this is EXACTLY the bonnet I have. Matter of fact, I am sitting under it right now doing my DC for 1hr. Ihave had this soft bonnet for sooooo long. I absolutely LOVE it. Its adjustable, its easy to fold up & put away when I'm done. I don't have to buy a new hand-blow dryer, cause this fits ever so nicely over any size nozzle. It fits over any size rollers. Its absolutely great!

Well...its great FOR ME, anyway.....

Good luck with your decision.:spinning:

It works better for me. I don't have to struggle to get all of the rollers under there and I do not have to pay over $100 for a pibbs.

I love mine. I plug it into an extension cord and I can move all around to do other things. With the hard ones, you just have to sit there.

My only issue with soft bonnets is that if you are not careful, you might rip it, and its ruined, Its usually a tough material though. I am very careful with mine when I am packing it. I don't think I will be getting a hard bonnet till I am really truly settled somewhere
