i cant figure this thing out.

my goal is to reach APL by my birthday next month...i assume it would be easier if i was megassaging like i was doing that month i got 1/2" in 2 weeks, but school is getting the best of me right now. (plus it was easier when my sister did the back of my head :lachen:)

i got a dominican blowout about a week and a half ago, which was pretty much a waste being that i stepped outside and it had just rained. i left my sabino mb at home :look: so my roots went WHOA NELLY! i still used the opportunity to do a length check before i pinned it up, where it has been since then. why does my...well our...hair reach APL in the front but not the back? does that confuse anyone else? maybe this is just a rant but...whaaa?

what does that have to do with lopsided armpits lol? but to answer the question my hair reached apl in the back before it did the front.

maybe it's that your hair has to go farther to the front than to the back such that it looks shorter? Meaning all that the back has to do is hang there but to be pushed to the front it has to bend over your shoulders. Also, a lot of people's hair is shorter in the front, and most people report looser curl patterns in the back than the front.

Your question and post title are two totally differen things...so I'll address both questions.

Yes, your arms could be lopsided. I've noticed that in my pics too.

Your hair sounds like it's uneven, that's why it's longer in the front. I guess you'll have to cut it all around to make your whole head even.

Yeah, I think that's what it is.

I have scoliosis too...have you had treatment for it?

TIA

No I was a grown woman at the time I found out. I've had pnumonia a couple times and I had an xray and the Dr. asked me if I knew I had it. I did not even know what it was. He said it would be difficult to treat an adult and if its not broke while fix it...I agree.
Oh the pnumonia was caused by me being allergic to animals with hair so no dogs or cats for me.

How severre is yours?

nope, no scoliosis.

more clarification because my fingers aren't getting out what my brain is trying to say. lets say i do an ear-to-ear part and put everything at the top in a clip. i use the bottom half to do my length checks. therefore, i pull that section (including my nape) down in front and just look in the mirror to measure, since it would take me 3 arms and the flexibility of a contortionist to hold the camera and stretch my hair in the back. kind of like in my sig...my sister held the camera but i am at school now and don't have that luxury. as far as the front, it really does look like my bangs aren't as long as everything else but i am fine with that since i will cut them anyway.

let's rephrase that question...are my armpits uneven in the front and in the back, since i look APL when i measure from the front and don't seem to be when i try to take a picture from behind? (that wouldn't fit on the front page of the forum.)
