For those who use leave-in conditioners, how often do you use it? Is it possible to use it too much or too often? Is it okay to use it insead of a setting lotion when using rollers?

Thanks in advance!!

I use a leave in conditioner everytime i wash my hair, i apply it when i do a roller set and air dry you could never use too much leave in i use pantene leave or infusium. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I use leave ins everytime I wash my hair (2x per wk). I don't think you can use it too often. The leave-ins I like are the spray kind and they usually have some protein and B-5 in it for strengthening the hair. hth

When I wear my hair curly, a lot of times, I spray water mixed with a little Infusium leave-in to get the job done.

Thanks guys....I just started using a leave- in conditioner and wanted to make sure I am not using it too much.

I use a leave-in conditioner each time I shampoo my hair. I always use a leave-in conditioner for roller setting (with no problem).

i use leave ins every day. i wet my hair after i wake up with a spray leave in. then i either add some liquid carrot or biosynthesis leave in. i do this every day and after washing.
nay

I use Pantene's light conditioner spray every day for moisturizing and detangling (my hair tangles badly). I really like this stuff. For rollersets, I use Infusium 23.

I use a leave in conditioner everytime I shampoo. Yes, I do believe that with some leave ins that have protein in them it can become too much and your hair will become dry. You can use leave ins to set and that is basically what I do when I am doing a braid out.

girl i have to agree wit hairfanatic coz if u got natural hair that dont need as much strengthenin as relaxed hair, then applyin too much protein leave in cud only aid in hardening yo hair
ngaa

Thinking about doing a braid out tonight! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I use a creamy leave-in everytime I wash, and a liquid leave-in daily for moisturizing and wrapping my hair at night.
