I section my hair and apply to the ends first and then work my way up. Since the ends are the oldest and most fragile part of the hair, I make sure to put extra on my ends first and then work my way up to the roots. I learned that from somewhere (can't remember where) and some of my conditioners state to put on the ends first and then work throughout the hair.

I section my hair off starting at the backand apply it to the roots first since its the thickest up there then work my way down. My finger combing goes easier that way.

It depends on the conditioner. The V05 Moisture Milk is the one I try my best not to get on my scalp because it leaves crazy buildup! :nono: Usually I put on from near root to tip.

Same here! I have since stopped using it b/c it was just sitting on my scalp :ohwell:

since i'm with everybody else who has a twa...i said tips to roots..but i slather n smoosh it on and it just hits the ends first...lol and that's b/c i don't have to much of an option:grin:

On the length. If some gets on my scalp it's okay, but I always learned conditioner on the length of hair and shampoo for the scalp.

I shampoo my scalp and keep the conditioner mostly on the length. I'm not meticulous about it, but I'd rather not have a lot of conditioner going on my scalp after washing it. A little is fine.

I slather it on from roots to tips:grin:. I like the ends really saturated though since it is the oldest hair on my head and needs a lot of conditioning. I pay more attention to my roots when I'm stretching my relaxer however.

What she said :yep:

My stylist saturates the entire hair--preparing it for a deep conditioner--then he puts the rest of my hair on top of my head, puts a clear plastic cap on, and I sit under the dryer for at least 30 minutes. :yep:
