crunchy. What does that mean? I have another leave in conditioner (the bottles of leave-in that were left over from my relaxer days, all mixed into one big spray bottle) which doesn't make my hair crunchy. When I use up the left over relaxer leave-in should I go with water? Is there anything I can add to the aphogee? Any suggestions? TIA

finally a thread I can respond to:grin:.... I just got a relaxer that processed my hair straight. Afterwards I used a spray bottle mixed in aphogee pro-vit, EVOO, and water and sprayed throughout my hair. I applied EVOO by itself to seal my ends, let airdry, and my hair curled up all over and I looked texlaxed. I dont know if it was the aphogee but my hair has never done this after a relaxer, and it was so soft and fluffy.

You might not need all of that protein. I always add it to my moisturizing leave in. I don't use it alone.

I stopped using leave-ins after this origional thread. is a leave-in really necessary? What is its purpose? Also, if it is suggested, is there a leave-in that doesn't contain protein or do they all?

Right now, I just wash or co-wash, apply Hollywood Olive Creme, Care free curl gold and glycerin which makes my hair extremely soft.
