Aphogee Balancing Moisturizer

Has anyone used this? Is it a conditioner?? I used this last night after washing my hair & placed my hair under a plastic cap for about 30 minutes. After that my hair was very hard and tangled. I followed the directions accordingly. Did I do something wrong? Please help!!

My hair is nice & soft this morning but I think that's only because I used handfuls of my UBH creme. Thank God I only bought the 1 oz packet from Sally's or I would be very pissed right about now.

The same thing happened to me. I mixed Aphogee's Essential Fatty Acid Oil to it to soften my hair until I used it up.

The same thing happened to me! My hair was a tangled mess and it didn't smell very good at all. I'll never use it again!

The one time I did an aphogee treatment, I followed up with my Humectress. I just had a feeling it would do a better job.

I just used it yesterday, and I did notice that my hair was a bit hard. I rinsed with smooth and sleek and everything was ok after that. I am glad you posted this, because I was confused as well!

It smelled bad? Mine smells very nice and citrus-y! I've used it in the past to soften after Aphogee protein treatment. Nearly half the small 8 oz bottle was used up, and then I only left it on for 2 mins (as against the directions that said five). My hair came out quite soft but I haven't really had occasion to use the product again.

although i use it when i want to add extra moisture to my hair, i always follow up with my regular conditioner becuase it does a really sh!!y job at making my hair feel anything but tangled and hard. i must say though, it does seem to make a difference in my hair's moisture "content"

This is not a deep conditioner nor is it a moisturizing conditioner. It is supposed to be used after using the Treatment (which makes your hair hard). You needn't keep it in your hair longer than 5 minutes and than you can follow up with your moisturizing conditioner.

Are you sure you followed the instructions? Casue like she said this is used following Aphogee Protein Treatment and NOT under the dryer and only for 3-5 minutes.

Or are you talking about something else?

I followed directions and for some reason my hair was hard and nasty. I did use it again because I thought I did something wrong the first time, and I got the same results. I had to follow up with Humectress to get my hair to soften.
