I'm just curious to know if anyone is or has ever been stuck at APL and if so what did you do to pass this length??
BrooklynSouth said:I don't believe you are "stuck". I just feel you are more conscious of your hair and like the watched pot never boiling. Continue your routine which helped you arrive at armpit..it'll grow..protect your ends and nape.
Is that what it is? I will try to remember that . . .
I feel like I have been stuck at APL for about a year! I do everything I am supposed to, I don't have a lot of breakage or shedding, my hair looks healthy, I'm just at a stand-still

@BlackRinse
How do you deal with neem oil?
That stuff is soo rank. I poured mine down the drain bc the smell would linger even if I used it as a prewash scalp treatment.
My entire house would smell like it.
What brand do you suggest?
only way I can touch my bra is with my hand, , been to APL multiple time's, I am tired of protective styling, I want my hair to come out and play, it's depressed.I've been apl since 2014. I think I'll finally get past this milestone soon. My longest layer is touching my bra, but I won't claim it until the bulk of my hair reaches bsl.
@BlackRinse what brand bamboo extract do u take?Break out that Miconazole Nitrate & Neem oil. And start popping some Bamboo Extract. Protective style with a wig or a hairstyle that allows you access to your scalp daily.
