Anyone (still) using LUSH Henna?

I tried Reshna Henna a few weeks ago. It was an absolute mess. Read a few good things about LUSH Henna and was wondering if anyone was still using it.
If so - which one and what do you like about it? (I'm hoping for a little color.) If not - which one and why didn't it work for you?

Thanks!

I'm using it! I love it. I love how easy it is to prepare and I get the same results as when I mixed my own. I use the Caca Noir Mama so I love the use of indigo without having to mixing again.

longhairdreaming did it make your hair black without adding the indigo?

It works great if you don't have gray hairs. It does not cover grays.
With that being said, I love the LUSH henna. I use the Caca Noir. It's a great hair conditioner and it adds a nice glossy shine to the hair because of the cocoa butter that's in it.

I have been a big fan of Lush's henna rouge. It made my hair strong and soft. It was great. But the last time I did it, last weekend, I noticed a few broken strands so I'm going to take a break from it for a while. Also, it is very difficult to get out. By the time I finished getting all the henna out, the water had run cold. As far as the color, I like it. My hair is really dark, so all it does is make the color warmer and give it that nice reddish glow in the sun.

Fill up your tub with warm water. Get in it and lay back in the water without covering your face.
All of the henna will come out. All of it. You have to submerge your hair. I learned this from a henna site. It works!

Why is it so expensive? Do they add anything to the henna? From the reviews I've read, you can get the same results from a $3 bag of Nupur.

I've used it once and plan on doing another treatment today. I am gray...which came out a reddish brown but I sorta like it. The black is deep black with a slight tint of blue. I deep condition the daylights out of my hair afterwards. It made my hair heavy and very silky. The second wash day was better than the first in terms of moisturized hair.

I would love to try just plain indigo after the initial treatment.

It has Cocoa butter, Clove bud oil, Irish Moss and other ingredients.
You don't get the cocoa butter in Nupur.

cocomama I haven't used henna at all in months. I'll probably start again in the new year and I'll be using LUSH. I really did like the way my hair came out and how good it felt.

I know someone who used it and she said it didn't work that well unfortunately.
