Anyone NOT Relax/Texlax On Schedule?

I texlax when I get about an inch of NG...Not matter when that time is could be 8 weeks or 13 depending on whatever I dunno. I know sometimes it's longer and sometimes it's shorter.

I see lots of posts of scheduled weeks and times. I mean if 4 weeks went by and an inch grew, I'd texlax... But that's never happened to me before LOL.

Anyone else not processing on a schedule? If not on a schedule what lets you know to go?

If I did not get a lot of new growth by my 12 week stretch ( weird) I would not relax my hair just doesn't make sense lol. But I usually have a lot of new growth by 12 weeks

I don't like spending a lot of time on my hair; my weekly co-washes/rollersets require only about 1-1/2 hours. However, my texlax touchups (at 13 or 14 weeks post) require a few hours, which is okay, but I don't want to be bothered more than 4 times a year.
