Anyone ever run into or suspect someone to be a LHCF member?

I've suspected a couple but there seems to be so few of us from Canada on here that I am almost certain that they are not a cousin and would never work up enough nerve to ask

Yes! Funny thing is, it had nothing to with length.

I was stuck in traffic last week and the young lady in the car next to me had her hair in a cute bun. Nothing unusual there. HOWEVER, she also had a silk/satin scarf tied around the headrest of her seat! I just knew she was a cousin when I saw that! You know how we do all kinds of things to protect our hair from harm!

There are too many in NYC. Natural and relaxed it's too much! I don't even bother at this point, lol.

Where I live, never until recently:

I was driving out of a college campus last week and spotted a natural sister with what looked like to be waist length curly/kinky hair. I almost wrecked my car breaking my neck to stare at her hair as I pulled out of the lot, LOL.

This past Sunday I was at Nordstrom Rack and spotted long, natural hair again. It was in two braids pinned in an updo.

Sadly, I mainly (not always) see dry, broken off, ashy hair, busted weaves, and cheap wigs.

Where I work there is one other person who is natural, but she doesn't like me.

I just ask. Alot of girls in my classes take good care of their hair. I have noticed though that more of them mention YouTube than hair boards.

I live in Houston, and ride around with my leopard print silk scarf around my head rest...... and I'm always in a bun.

OMG!!! I wonder if that was you! It was hot and I was mad at being in traffic, but when I saw that bun and scarf, I smiled.

Well as long as it brought a smile to your face... I really do need to get a real headrest cover and lose the scarf though But I've never seen one made with satin/silky material. Oh well.

I am new (well i been reading the threads for a while so I mean new as in I just PAID yesterday) and I had to literally LOL when I saw this thread title. My husband thinks I'm pyscho because everytime I see a girl with long HEALTHY hair I say I wonder if shes on the forum. I mean I can't be the only hair obsessed girl around here... can I?

i do the SAME thing... I've had to catch myself with that because thats not fair. But I feel like in Houston everybody is into the appearance of hair and not the health so I just assume.

Instead of saying are you nikos cousin (since ppl are still shy 'bout that, and it's kinda funny), then we should revise the question and say, "hey, do you know someone name nikos?".. LOL.. but then again, maybe that's just as bad as askin if you're a cousin.. I dunno.. what y'all think?

I would probably still be to shy. heck I barely say anything on the boards
