Anyone ever get a sew in done at a dominican shop???

I didn't get a full sew in but I used to get about 5 or 6 tracks put in for some time several years ago. I'm not too knowledgeable about sew ins but I didn't get any damage to my hair from it, braids were never too tight or too loose and it would always last a good 2 months.

I did a few years ago and it was great! Wasn't really a sew in though...the lady used a technique of wrapping my hair and the track with thread rather than sewing and I didn't have my hair braided. It just blended right in with my hair. Kind of like adding clip ins. I've only had a weave twice in my life and this technique was way less damaging than a track hanging on my thin braided up hair.
