Anybody thinking of cutting off their hair progress and rocking a short 'do?

I was just talking to DH today about cutting my hair and he was like and he is usually my biggest motivator to cut.

If I DID cut it I'd do something like the above cut or a more polished version of Rihanna's cut. I've always wanted an asymmetrical bob. However, I think I will just let my hair grow...I ALWAYS wind up cutting my hair.

Just did today.

I have had 3 haircuts this summer. Went from 2-3 inches from APL all the way to right at my shoulders, maybe a cm. past my shoulders. And I have layers in the front. I'm glad I did it, it sucks knowing that I have lost about 4 inches of hair, but Im getting over it.

If you want the cut, go for it, you'll probably feel anxious while its happening but relieved when its over. You will think about what would have been, but that shouldn't last too long if you get a haircut you like.

Um...oh hell to the nawz. This is the longest that my hair has ever been and although I'm sure I'd be able to get it long again, I don't want to wait another 2+ years to get there.

The two cuts are cute though. I think I'd get a wig or a short weave, if I wanted short hair.

These is very cute hairstyles. The funny thing is I am trying to GROW my hair out to that short length, if that makes any sense. I love short hair, and always get compliments on it. But, I don't want to depend on that style as the hairstyle that is the most flattering on me. I don't want to cut my hair, but I love short hair.
Don't do anything drastic, I mean that is why we are here. But, if you do, I won't tell!
Dh doesn't care either way. He still thinks I look good!

You should go and at least get a trim. It might help you feel better about your hair When I get real frustrated with the shape of my hair, even a light trim can change the whole situation around.

I know that may sound a little silly, but it almost feels like a way to vent my frustration, at least today.

Exactly! I don't have anything by a long mile, against short hair. But, I made a decision, and I am going to stick with it. This journey is about self-discipline for me. It would surround my hair, go figure. It's just those those thoughts crystallize into actions. I know they have in the past for me.

But, the hard trials will pan themselves out, and you will make it. The last thing you or I need is to make irrational decisions. You are doing great! I just looked at some long haired fotkis(including your's), and they kept me in check. If you need change, buy some new shoes. Sorry if I am coming hard, but I am also speaking to myself.

I have one goal and one goal only: to have the longest hair I can have....and keep it! I would never ever ever cut my hair.
I gave my white sister in law the silent treatment when she cut her hair.
Short do's are very cute and stylish though. I like to find cute short wigs (even if it looks fake people think it's mine just because it's short. lol)

I saw this woman working the makeup counter at an upscale department store on Chicago's Michigan Avenue. She was bald and looked AMAZING! She was so beautiful.

Some women just have that beauty! I am convinced some women don't need hair. But, that' s just me! I am tooo scared to rock hair like that, though! But, confidence is just on of those things that come with styles like this!

She's still here, but I like that look on her. That is actually my goal length and stuff, before I got carried away with the other lengths. But, I think that would be cute on you, as well. Just a little shaping or trimming will do. Don't do anything drastic, that way you won't regret it later. You have your own mind, I am sure you know what to do!

As most of you know I just cut 8-10" of my natural hair the other day into a very short hairstyle. I love it, have always been partial to short hair, and like you I receive more compliments when my hair is shorter.
DH could care less, he says it's my hair and he'd love me even if I was bald.
