Anybody else gets excited going to the BSS?

last week I took my daughter with me to the BSS but i was supposed to be in the childrens store buying clothes not in the beauty supply store ya'll know I have too much stuff as it is
My daughter asked for my cell phone(she's 9) then she turned her back and I heard her whispering "daddy pleeeassse help me !!!we're not buying clothes!!mommy has me in the BSS!!"

so yes,, I am always excited to go the BSS especially when I'm alone

I just walk around in the aisles. Lots of times, I go to compare prices, so I will know what store has the best prices on product a, etc. I walk around so much, the clerks always say, Ms. do you need some help?

It's like the heavens open up when I go into a BSS!

This is me, too...Sometimes I don't buy anything (because I have so much stuff and I go so often), but I walk down every single aisle and look at everything, compare prices, etc. They don't even bat an eyelash at me anymore...

Yes, it's so true! At heart, I am still a PJ. Sally's has all of these little samples.. so you don't have to buy the whole jar of a product. I treat myself to one when I am good. Everytime I lose weight I run to get my reward

I was on my way to Tar-jay'.......and almost walked past an open door....but I looked in....looked up....BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE!

I got to Tar-jay' like 20 minutes later....

I had to buy something....I scanned the aisles for a possible hidden treasure...and then....amongst the oils....I saw some jars of Palm Oil...

I grabbed four, left two

I'm not a pj, but just looking at different products or buying hair accessories is a thrill.

Girl, the BSS is like the grocery store to me! I go in there with a "shopping list" as if that stuff is a life or death necessity like food. I think I'm the only one who stays in there more than 30 or 40 minutes just comparing and reading ingredients. Yes, it can get pretty pathetic at times.

I seem to have gotten use to reg old BSS plus getting product half price has helped a lot.
I only get excited when I go to a BSS IN NYC these ladies have the best stores I would be broke if I lived there.

This thread is funny. I found myself nodding and agreeing with almost everyone. I've almost got my products down so lately I usually just go to browse. My my momma and my bestfriend didn't believe me the other day when I said I went to Sally's and didn't buy anything. I have a list too! My husband picked up my list on his way to the grocery store one day. When he got to the door I heard Girl! He came back and handed him the grocery list. He was shaking his head.

I do kind of get a little rush when I go Ulta and Sephora. I love those stores! Its like retail therapy for me. I don't go to a BSS too much, the ones in my area are not all that great. SO, its usually Ulta, Sephora, or Trade Secret for me.

I am excited today. I have to go to Sally's to get a regular sized shampoo and conditioner (I only have liters) for travel. I have not been to Sally's in a month (because I have so much stuff already) so I am feeling so excited. That is so sad!

Most definitely. I plan ahead of time, and recently have started scouting Texas beauty supply and folica to make exact pricing and lists. I have to limit myself to once a month or I would never have any money.

I just back from Sally's. Okay I went in to buy Porosity Control Shampoo and Mane N Tail conditioner (the smaller sizes) and I walked out with SEVERAL more items. I seriously need help. Well at least I got my BSS fix for the month.
