Anybody else gets excited going to the BSS?

i'm not a pj by any means cause i know what works for me. but whenever i enter a BSS store i get this rush or excitement, even if i leave empty handed (rarely happens but still...). does that happen to anyone else here?
 
Uh yea :look: . Even if I don't end up buying anything, I scan the BSS to see what they have :lol: . I love going, it's a little nuts.
 
I am all smiles, humming when I get to the BSS.

I am so glad that I found this forum. At least I know that there are people out there just like me;)
 
co-signing. I get paid today, and I'm jumping out of my skin with excitement to to look for a salon-quality deep conditoner or hair masque!!!

Can't wait!!!:)
 
I have a hair supply shop on the the same road that I live on. They know my name, everything I use (which is a lot) and when I leave they shout out "see you tommorrow".

I just walk around in the aisles. Lots of times, I go to compare prices, so I will know what store has the best prices on product a, etc. I walk around so much, the clerks always say, Ms. do you need some help?

It's like the heavens open up when I go into a BSS! :)

lol Caribeandiva i know i always go into a BSS thinking i m make that quick i came just for that wild growth hair oil:mad: but as soon as i get inside i m like a kid in a candy store:lol: i get all excited and want to check what s new read contents, spend like an hour and never ever leave with just what i came for :lachen: :lol: :grin:
 
Girl, the BSS is like the grocery store to me! I go in there with a "shopping list" as if that stuff is a life or death necessity like food. I think I'm the only one who stays in there more than 30 or 40 minutes just comparing and reading ingredients. Yes, it can get pretty pathetic at times. :look:

Well...living in N. Dakota, we only have Sally's and products sold at Target and Walmart...that is it!!! So...you know I go crazy when I go outta town and visit the BSS. I just want to touch the products, pick them up, put them down, look at the labels....etc....LOL....LOL
 
I go into the BSS and it's as if there's a force field at the door or something, cos once I enter and the sensor does that "beep" thing, my heart palpitates and take a deep breath.....:lol:

It's even worse when I go to the hair care aisle at Walmart or Meijer.....good God......just the sight of two whole rows.....each six feet high.....stacked with hair products.....:shocked: This one time a clerk came up to me and asked me if I was a 'secret shopper' because she sees me doing my 'research' all the time. :lachen: :lachen: :lachen:

Y'know what? I'm a go today. I mean, it is Friday...:look:
 
I am turning into a PJ since becoming a member, it started out with me just wanting to properly take care of my own hair and it’s turned into an obsession.
I used to never even think about my hair I jus did whatever rarely washed it, rarely styled rarely ANYTHING. I would just go get a Dominican blow out every 3 months or so. And hot curl my side and ends every few days in-between but that’s IT, I didn’t even wash my own hair but a handful of times a year.

Now I have turned into a junkie, I love the way my clean hair smells in the wind I have been washing it 2wice a week and I love the thought of shopping for hair products. I have been spending 10 times more time on my hair than I did this time last year. I just hope I am not manipulating it too much since I didn’t seriously have a problem retaining length b4 I just didn’t like the Dominican blow outs taking away my progress and spending the 50.00 for something I knew I could get close enough to on my own.

So yes I go to the BSS and spend insane amounts of time. I also always stroll by the hair care products wherever I go which I NEVER did b4 LHCF. I get exited when I find a product I noticed on LHCF with good reviews. I even get exited about doing my hair; I have been trying all types of roller-sets thinking I will eventually perfect one.
 
So I'm not alone with my addiction to crack....er......I mean beauty supply houses...... Which reminds me, I gotta renew my Sally card today.
 
Yes I do get excited and all giddy. I do the same go in talking about buying what I came for (that never works).:lol: I even looks to see what someone else is picking up only if they are reading the ingrediants(sp) :lol: I don't buy nothing without looking at that.
 
wooo, i'm glad i don't have ya'll's disease! i have enough bills :lol: :lol: :lol:

nah, going to the BSS is like a chore to me. (please don't revoke my LHCF card) lol
 
last week I took my daughter with me to the BSS but i was supposed to be in the childrens store buying clothes not in the beauty supply store ya'll know I have too much stuff as it is
My daughter asked for my cell phone(she's 9) then she turned her back and I heard her whispering "daddy pleeeassse help me !!!we're not buying clothes!!mommy has me in the BSS!!" :eek:

so yes,, I am always excited to go the BSS especially when I'm alone :D
 
A lot of times when I go to the bss I get so excited that I have to pee:lachen: . If I'm with somebody I try to play it cool and pretend like it's no big deal when inside I'm like.

I don't anymore. It is kinda depressing for me actually. :look:

It is like a person that is addicted to something and realizes the problem, but still indulges in it anyway.

I am not a PJ in the sense that I try lots of new things, but I have this fear that my favorite stuff is going to disappear.

I really have issues. :) :)
 
Yeah I get that PJ rush everytime I go to the BSS, sometimes I fight the urge to go especially when I need to spend my money elsewhere. I make a little list everytime I go to keep my spending under control.
 
I get so excited that it don't make no sense. The owner know me from coming in all time and when I'm shopping he walks around with me and talks about hair products with me and stories about how he's not profiting in the area...I'm like yah, yah, go tend to your store so I can concentrate...shoot messing with me...I'll mess around and get the wrong ish:lachen:

We are a pitiful bunch:eek: The Sally's is in a mall with another bss a few doors down and across the street is yet another bss! Can you say "oh happy day":grin: And then a brand, spanking new bss opened up next to Kohl's and the grocery store and sent me a flyer. I went down each and every isle, holding, touching, wishing........

OK, I think you get the message. Then to make me even more addicted, there is a bss on the way to the Indian store AND right next door. Whew, I can't escape:ohwell:
