If so do you even try to curl(rollerset, curling iron, etc.) your hair during the hot weather? If you do, how do you go about doing it to keep a curl all day long.

I'm not from Florida, but I do live here now, and the humidity is a trip. I notice that most of the hairstylists don't even try to do lots of curls, because they'll either fall or frizz within an hour. I got my hair done just yesterday, and it was full and slightly curled. By the time I got into work about an hour and a half later, it was flat as a pancake.

I notice a lot of really curly styles are pre-curled weaves, so I'd be interested, too, to answers to this question.

Yep, that Florida for you! my hair is either flat or frizzy on rainny days. I can't keep any curls or waves. So I wear ia bun or two braids.

Sometimes I would try to curl my hair as i was getting ready for the day and within minutes of me stepping out of the door, my hair was so limp and lifeless. Although when i did rollerset my hair the night before (very tightly), wehn my curls fell, they were just the way I wanted them (or somewhere around where i wanted them). Why must mother nature be like this?

I live in Florida and my sets hold really well with Lottabody diluted with distilled water and mixed with a little carrot oil. A better solution though is dry sets with Miss Cool Minute Fast Set.

hi neighbors!

i am from miami, florida-born and raised. to keep my roller-set i do one loose pin curl (sort of like a bun) and when i make it to the office i let it down. on hot humid days i don't really have a problem.

Thanks ladies! I'm from Orange Park, its right outside of Jacksonville. I love to wear my relaxed hair in curls most of the time! I will have to try the loose pin curl. Ive used Lottabody (diluted) and it does a good job holding the curl.

Hi, I'm from Tampa, FL. My hair is relaxed & my roller sets don't last long so I usually wrap & go or wear braids.
