I didn't want to hi-jack the other other thread. Which do you think looks better with my dress if any at all

Which one do you think goes better?

Congrats OP again!! If I had to choose I would choose the first one but I feel like both might be a little bit too much with the dress....Thats definitely a statement dress and the bird cage veil will look beautiful but maybe something slightly smaller then the 1st one (like without the hat piece just have veil and flowers) would work

I think the dress speaks for itself and doesn't need a head piece, at least not on like those. I would just keep it very simple because the dress already has a lot going on.

Congratulations!!!

I agree that you should just keep it simple and maybe wear a flower pinned in your hair. Congrats on your upcoming nuptials!

I think if you want the birdcage take the feathers out and just have a plain one since your dress has jewels around the neckline....the feathers don't quite go.

That's my kinda dress..gawgus.:spinning:

Agreed with erryone else, a headpiece would busy it up too much, the dres is stunning, let it speak for itself..maybe just add some small crystal type embelishments in your hair somewhere?

Thanks for the opinions everyone. I think I might go for a different headpiece. I definitely want to wear something in my hair that isn't common. Flowers are too common for me.

I might go for crystal embellishments like another poster suggested.

Thanks everyone!

The style of the dress and the headpieces are from two different eras. If you really want a headpiece and think a very simple jeweled 20s style one would go better with the style of the dress. The birdcage is better suited for a lacy dress from a later time period.

I think the dress looks best the way the model is styled...some statement earrings and pulling the hair away from the face.
