Has any1 seen this show? If so have yall noticed how they ALWAYS are sooo quick to CUT the women's hair off? I remember an episode..no 2 episodes where the women were not wanting their hair to be cut. They liked the shorter do but they wanted to keep their length. Infact on one ep. the sis. cried cause she lost quiet a bit of length. I was upset w/that. Girl had beautiful full thick hair, why couldn't they just TRIM it and even it a lil bit and then style it how it is, sheesh. Whats go funy bout it also is that the women that go up to these other girls and cut their hair have long hair themselves. whether its weave or not they themselves have length but for some reason are soo quick to cut every1 else's off. Cant stand that. :P lol

I wouldn't go on a show where they even thought about cutting my hair.

Ditto. I've seen too many crap hair results and not enough big improvements.

It seems like EVERY makeover show wants to cut everyones hair...I would have to tell them up front not to come within 10 feet of my hair with a pair of scissors.

I love that show, but it's true, they are quick to cut somebody's hair, particularly the guy who gives "commitment cuts". He basically cuts your hair before they begin the makeover so you won't change your mind and back out.

I saw an episode when they was really wanted to cut this woman's hair short. Well she let them cut it a little bit and was like that is enough. They sat there trying to convince her that it would only look right if it short. I give her props because she didn't let them cut her hair and she wasn't afraid to show how angry she was that they made her late to see her grandmother (who she hasn't seen in years) at a particular time and they promised they would be done in time).

I think they are very wrong for telling these women that the only way they can look beautiful is to cut their hair. I think they just want the change to be dramatic.

Probably because the end result will be more dramatic and different. It makes for a more interesting show...but I agree. Noone with cutting intentions of more than an inch would come near me with a pair of scissors

You know what i think u are right, thats why they do that so that way u HAVE to stay because now you dont knwo what to do w/that hair thats short now so u gotta let a pro do it. I see why they do that, that makes sense. Well i'd say u can do my hair IF u are going to put braids in it. I have also noticed how while the person is getting their hair done they are not facing the mirror(which i guess i can understand cuase they want to surprise u but then again they can maybe show u cutting my hair so i can make sure it looks right for ME) and the person starts using a razor or some other cuttery to cut even MORE hair off. Just like what happened to that young black girl who was on a blind date w/that guy she liked. They cut off more than she wanted. I feel the folx proly ie and say they like ti cause they dont wanna hurt they feelings or/and they on tv too. :^P

I saw that episode the other day and thought that she had such thick gorgeous hair! I would never have let them cut it. I'd be trying to grow it out longer.

I was going to start a thread asking if anyone else had seen this girl's hair, BTW.

Did any of you watch yesterday? They were in DC, and the lady got her hair done at a salon called Exclusives or Xclusives, if my memory serves correctly. It was a Caucasian woman and she had extensions sewn in her hair. I think the placement of the colors of hair wasn't the greatest. Why would you put the lighter layers at the bottom and darker ones on top? HELLO!

I saw an episode where a woman said that she always had long hair and it had previously been down to her mid thigh (tips of her fingers). She had it cut for some reason. When the guy ambushed her, her hair was below brastrap and all one length. You should have seen him salivating as he put his hands thru her hair saying that she “the perfect canvas”. She then said that she had long hair for a very long time and didn’t want to cut it. What really got me was that she said that she was also a hairdresser and she KNOWS WHAT A HAIRDRESSERS TRIM REALLY IS!

HA! She admitted it! So the guy then tells her to sit down in a chair bend over. He then takes all of her hair in his hands. She then sits up and he begins twisting until all her hair was twisted to the ends on top of her head. She looked like a unicorn. Holding her hair up, he then told the stylist where to cut. He was pointing his finger down towards the BASE of the twisted hair. She proceeds to chop somewhere in the middle and the look on that woman’s face was as if she was hurtin! When they finished with her she had a chin layered bob.

They get on my nerves with that cutting, although sometimes, it looks really good.

A week or two ago, there was this one lady that Rob ambushed in the streets. He told her she needed to put on a hairnet (which he tried to put on her head) before a rat jumped out of her head!

No joke!

You know Rob, the one with the accent? I was in shock when he told her that!

But, she was sassy! He had on a shirt that was unbuttoned a few notches down, and she pointed to his chest and said, "What's that?"

He said, "It's a chest, baby!"

She later told the camera that all she saw was this man with greasy hair running up to her. I was rolling. But Rob found out what she said about his hair and after her hair was done, he grabbed a piece of it and said,

"I heard you said my hair is greasy?" So, he sprayed something on a little chunk in the back and took a hot flatiron, and all you heard was, "Ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!"

I was in shocked! She was too.

Luckily, he didn't burn her hair, he was just trying to get back at her for what she said, but I still think it was uncalled for. It scared the heck out of me!

I don't always like the makeover. I would like to see a follow up show to see how many of them actually keep up the new look.

Probably don't. I especially feel sorry for the ones who get extensions, because I know half of them don't have a clue as to how to take care of it.
