Altrist?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone here has used the Altrist Flat Iron and if so, did it damage your hair over a long period of time? I just received it in the mail and I'm kinda afraid to use it without hearing a little more about it.

ive never heard of it, but using too much of any form of heat will damage your hair overtime. the best thing to do , is to make sure you use the lowest temp you can while making the hair straight. i currently only use my flat iron for my roots when im stretching. other than that, i rollerset. is it a ceramic flat iron? also, what kind of hair do you have? (relaxed, natural, type)
