Aloe Vera for enhanced growth?

I HATE growth aides for the most part.

I hate the smell of sulfur. I'm not trying to make my hair dry, I hate oils on my scalp. I hate strong smells. I'm also not into using MN.

How does pure aloe vera sound as a growth aide?

It contains muccopolysaccharides (like surge!) and would be all natural.

It won't gunk up follicles and it won't make your hair greasy. It should be soothing and be great for scalp health.

Your thoughts?

I think I may try it :yep:

Wow, I never thought of aloe vera gel as a growth aide, but it's an interesting idea. I have some stashed around here, so I'll definitely start using it more frequently to see if it helps or not. :yep:

I'm not sure of it as a growth aid but let us know if it works!! I use the gel as a light moisturizer and I love it.

I'll go buy some today! It's natural and non irritating, so it's worth a shot. If anything, it's just good for the scalp.

I'm going to apply in the morning and at night and report back in a month. :yep:

I just bought some aloe vera juice yesterday and to be honest, i have no idea how to use it :drunk: My plan was to add it to my conditioners with a dollop of honey

I'm curious too. I know it was one of the main ingredients in Surge 14 (which worked very well for me). I have a half bottle and I've been using it just around my hairline. I may try aloe vera to see if it could be a replacement. I'm too chicken to try sulfur. I've heard there are possible skin reactions and I do not need any of that.

I don't see why aloe won't support a natural growth cycle since:

Aloe Vera:Clinical studies show that Aloe Vera enhances cellular rejuvenation and provides the building blocks for hair proteins.
Additionally, its anti-inflammatory properties protect against damage to the scalp and hair.

I love to put it on my scalp...:yep:
