Allergic to Weave??!!

Ok...I'm having some issues. The longer my hair gets, the more I hate doing it. I've tried the cornrow thing twice with weave and once without...doesn't work for me. It looks nice but my scalp itches like crazy regardless of what I do. I recently tried a half wig and the part of my scalp that the wig touched was so sore and itched so bad, that I had to lay it to rest after a few days. What's going on???? I need a hairstyle where I don't have to mess with my hair. Any suggestions????

I think it might be the hair processing chemicals. I don't know if you can do the hair treatment from growafrohairlong.com to remove the chemicals from the hair.
