Allergic to sulfur?

I am allergic to sulfur yet I can successfully use MSM and sublimed sulfur powder in my hair concoctions... My allergy Dr tried to explain that becuase it changes form in different ... somehow I understood when he explained it but I, for the life of me, could not repeat it in a way to make others understand.

I know that when I was in premature labor, I was given magnesium sulfate and went into anaphylaxis shock... almost died, was in the hospital in serious condition for about a week after...

Also, once I had a rash of some sort and was given an ointment with sulfur as a main ingrediant and my body swole up and I looked deformed... was given benadryl and soem steroids and was instantly fine...


anyway, I say all of that to say I was researching something and found some info that maybe helpful to those with sulfur allergies understand why they can still use MSM or sulfur powder

Interesting. . . I also have an allergic reaction to sulfur. I guess this is why I've avoided using a lot of the hair care products that have sulfur in them.

I had no idea that I could possibly use sulfur products in my hair. Maybe I'll give it a shot.
