All Time Favorite LEAVE IN Conditioner!!!

Thanks again everyone for your suggestions. Now I feel like I have a few more options :spinning:. As I am far away from a beauty supply store, I will pick up the Paul Mitchell and the Nexxus at the local grocery store tomorrow to give them a try, but I must admit that at some point I would like to sample each one of these suggestins until I find MHG, without letting this PJ thing get really out of hand, of course.

Filmatic, you were so thoughtful to leave that one bottle of the Suave leave-in behind (lol). Girl, I don't blame you for stocking up when you find something that works :yep:.

Infusium 23 Repairology is used on my hair only when I go to the salon, which is once every two weeks. My stylist adds an oil blend such as Hot 6 or Hairobics Detangling Oil :lick: on my hair first before spraying Infusium 23 on my hair. Incidentally, I bring all of my own products into the salon.

There are other forumulas that may suit your needs depending on how often you wash your hair. The moisturizing formula of Infusium 23 may be good for those who wash their hair often.

Actually I went back today and got it. I figured if someone didn't pick it up in the last few days then it was meant for me. He he

LOL at Filmatic...I would have done the same thing :yep:. Today I bought the Neutrogena Triple Moist leave in today and I will give it a try for the first time tomorrow. I could not find the PM The Conditioner at the local grocery store, but I have a few other places in mind.

Barbara, thanks for the Infusium recommendation. Sounds like you get really good results.

Also bumping for more responses. I've used my current leave-in for over a year and it's time for a new one.

I use Suave Humectant for my leave-in and Kenra MC every now and then. I co-wash to much to spend all that money on a "leave-in" when I can just use the conditioner I use.

I am a big fan of NTM but got tired of spending 5-7 bucks on it to just co-wash it out the next day .

I've waited a week to share this, but I figured this thread is a good one to start. I have been using Alter Ego Energizer and Rebalancing Conditioner as a leave-in with Avocado Oil as a sealer....I'm hooked..I haven't used anything else and my hair is moisterized like crazy.

It's pricey, but worth every dime to me.:yep:

Mrs Green, thanks for this. I often wondered about leave ins and co-washing every day, as I co-wash daily myself and wondered if I was simply wasting money on a leave-in :nono:. However, over the past few days, I have noticed that with a leave in, my Wash N Gos are much softer :yep:. Thanks for the tip about the conditioner-I will try this and compare it with a leave in.

Nice N Wavy, thanks for sharing. Where do you get this? Pardon my ignorance but is this a Dominican product? I have heard of the Alter Ego line before but I have never heard of this product.

It is the one that just says Nacidit Leave in Conditioner. It is purple. It smells good. I got mine from round brush hair. I love this stuff.

You're welcome.:clapping:

Fantasia IC:lick:
long brown bottle (not the Aloe one)

I may have posted in here before but ignore whatever I said if I said anything else. Infusion 23 is trash compared to this, IMO, when it comes to color, consistency, and how it makes my hair feel

I can use it before blowdrying, before airdrying, making a puff, whatever and it will work. Plus it has slip, moisturizes, strengthens/repairs, and has my hair shiny and it smells good too.

Havent been able to find one that didnt cause tiny broken hairs so i had to concoct one lol.

1 part water
2 parts 911 leave in conditioner
1 part h-two elasta qp
tablespoon aloe vera jelly and voila! :lick:

My hair loves it! My ends were really crunchy and dry yesterday so i squirted some of the mixture onto them, combed through and :spinning: i was amazed at how smooth and shiny my ends were. Sealed with sum kemi oyl and my ends are behaving!

I like Shea Moisture. I tried Giovanni direct leave in 3 times. The first time I used too much. the second time I used a very litle and it worked alright. IMO Shea Moisture is better.

I'm gonna take back this and say Giovanni. When i used this stuff before I got my braids, my hair air dried and was incredibly soft. I used a two dime sized amounts. One on the front half of my hair and one on the back half.

Kelly210, babybex9, aloof one, Ayeshaluv, cocoagirl, thanks for weighing in.

QUICK REVIEW: I actually found Paul Mitchell's "The Conditioner" at a local BS and thiis is my second time using it. I first used it when I did the BC, but at that time, I had no clue what I was doing when it came to my hair. Today is my second day using the leave in and I must say that so, far I am impressed with the results on my texturized hair, which is experience EXTREME dryness this summer. It has just the right amount of moisture and shine for my hair, but some may find it a bit too heavy. It kept my WNGs reasonably soft by the end of the day, which usually does not happen with other products, so this is a big plus. I found that the REDKEN Anti-snap did not moisturize my hair enough and was a bit too watery in comparison :nono:.

ARTEMIS!!! Thanks for the recommendation on the PM line :lick:.
